Product is a PowerPoint AI assistant used by consulting companies and Fortune 500 teams. A typical professional spends 1 to 3 hours creating one slide. With Product company, they create a v1 of their entire deck in 10 minutes, and make changes like “turn this table to a chart” in seconds directly within PowerPoint.

In the next 2 years, our goal at company is to forever change the way business presentations are made.

Your responsibilities (in order)

• Design, implement, test, and deploy full features
• Design and implement a robust infrastructure to enable rapid development and automated testing
• Look at usage data to iterate on features

What we’re looking for

• Undergraduate or master's in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• 2+ years of backend or DevOps software engineering experience
• Experience with TypeScript (JavaScript) or Python

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on SDE 2 – Backend Developer (Node.js) who will play

a critical role in building scalable backend systems, integrating AI-driven solutions,

and shaping Tamasha’s technical foundation.Key Responsibilities



Hands-on Engineering: Actively code, design backend architecture, and solve

complex technical problems.

 AI & Emerging Tech: Integrate AI agents, automation, and recommendation

systems.

 Scalable Infrastructure: Design secure, scalable cloud systems on GCP and

Azure.



DevOps & Deployment: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and monitoring

systems.

Required Skills & Experience



3–4 years of backend development experience in a product-based company

 Strong expertise in Node.js (Express / NestJS)



Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases



Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP / Azure)



Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

 Strong understanding of system design and scalability

Brief:

Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to work closely with the founding team. We are looking for a developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

1. Develop platform and infra stack from scratch
2. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
3. Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
4. Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

6. Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

9. Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new technologies, and better assist other team members.

Technology Skills

1. Proven work experience as a NodeJs Backend developer and frameworks available with it like Express, Apollo Graphql. Typescript knowledge is a plus
2. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
3. Hands-on with various Infrastructure pieces like databases, message queues/brokers
4. Familiarity with Unit Testing Frameworks, UI Testing, Monorepos and Graphql principles
5. Knowledge of Alerting and Monitoring tools.
6. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests

Candidate profile : 3-6 years of experience in Backend Development

• Managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.
