Job Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Stantech AI, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend services and APIs that cater to the unique needs of our clients. You will be a key member of our engineering team and will contribute to the success of projects by leveraging your expertise in Python, SQL, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs using Python FastAPI framework.
• Optimize and maintain relational databases with SQL (data modeling, query optimization, and sharding) to ensure data integrity and scalability.
• Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, frontend engineers, DevOps) to gather requirements and deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
• Participate in architectural and technical decisions to drive innovation, ensure reliability, and improve system performance.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
• Bonus: Hands-on experience with server-level configuration and infrastructure—setting up load balancers, API gateways, and reverse proxies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, design patterns, and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Plus: Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Financial Package:

Competitive salary in line with experience: ₹10–20 Lakhs per annum, contingent on qualifications and experience.

• The ability to problem-solve and critically think.
• High level of knowledge of Python and the Django framework.
• Familiarity with event driven programming as well as the MVC.
• Good understanding of SQL databases.
• Good understanding of REST APIs.

• You have 2-5 years of experience using two or more development languages (ASP.NET, JavaScript, Scala, C#, etc.) with experience in Object-Oriented programming and full-stack web application development
• You can write clean, high-quality code in a variety of languages and are also able to spot and improve bad code
• You have experience with Agile and/or Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, TDD, Infrastructure as Code, etc.
• Experience with developing web applications based on ReactJS
• Hands on experience in setting up automated build pipelines based on Jenkins, Gradle, MSBuild, Maven etc.
• Bonus points if you have knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with atleast one RDBMS sql-server or postgress having good sql skills
• You will champion best practices like writing clean and reusable code using practices like Test Driven Development, SOLID principles, OO design, and pair programming
• You will partner with developers from other cross-functional teams advocating devops culture
• Experience with building REST APIs and asynchronous messaging systems
• You will work in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences

We are looking for 2+ Year experienced Back-end developer to join our Team.
You will be responsible for the development and management of server side of our web applications in terms of quality and scalability. 

You should be passionate about writing optimised codes, and solving problems in real time, Data Structure and Algorithm. 

Responsibilities : 

- Write clean code to develop functional web applications 

- Should be adaptable to good practices and standards 

- Capable to write scalable codes. 

- Gather and address technical and design requirements 

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Required Candidate profile

Requirements : 

- Hands on experience on Node Js, Typescript, Mongodb, Elastic Search, Kafka, RESTfull Apis, Python(Django),  Angular, Flutter / Dart

- Excellent analytical and time management skills 

- Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude 

- Understanding of deployment process with AWS/Digital Ocean/Microsoft Azure 

- Good Understanding of System Design. 

- Should be aware of design patterns 

- Understanding of TDD 

- Unit Test Frameworks - Chai, Mocha, Sinon, Supertest, Knock
