Requirements Qualifications

Experience in custom WordPress website development and Plugin development.

Experience in WordPress Theme development (PSD to WordPress conversion, HTML to WordPress conversion)

Strong knowledge in PHP and PHP based frameworks

Experience in PHP based CMS like Drupal, Joomla, Shopify is added advantage

Knowledge in Angular JS, React JS, Node JS is added advantage.

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to build and maintain functional web pages and applications.

Senior Web Developer responsibilities include leading a team of junior developers, refining website specifications and resolving technical issues. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience building web pages from scratch and in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Javascript, Ruby or PHP.

Ultimately, you will ensure our web pages are up and running and cover both internal and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify user and system requirements for new websites and applications
• Prioritize software development projects, set timelines and assign tasks to team members
• Create wireframes to decide on the layout
• Write or review code for various applications
• Run functionality testings and debug code
• Oversee junior web developers and evaluate their performance
• Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons)
• Ensure our software documentation is up-to-date
• Collaborate with mobile developers to build mobile-responsive websites

Backend: PHP Laravel (must), NodeJS (knowhow)

Frontend: Any Javascript, ReactJS (preferred)

Others: MySQL or any SQL database, Knowhow of Microservices architecture

• Developing, recording, and maintaining cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
• Building innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience team
• Ensuring HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
• Preparing and maintaining all applications utilising standard development tools
• Utilising backend data services and contributing to increasing existing data services API
• Leading the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support
• Conveying effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues
• Documenting the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinating with co-developers and keeping project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serving as a liaison between development staff and project manager
• Keeping abreast of new trends and best practices in web development

What we look for in you?

• 3 + years Hands-on in development and delivery experience with Java, Scala, and the likes

• Passion for software engineering and craftsman-like coding prowess

• Great OO skills, including strong design patterns knowledge

• Experience working with Agile, TDD, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)

• Enthusiastic to work collaboratively with people and sharing your ideas to solve real business problems.
