Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled GxP Manual Functional Tester with strong experience in manual testing within GxP-compliant environments.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle and hands-on experience in Functional, FIT, and UAT testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, development, and regulatory stakeholders, in an Agile setup.

Mandatory Skills : Manual Testing, GxP Compliance, STLC, FIT & UAT Test Design, Agile Testing, Jira, Defect Management, and Test Documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform manual testing in GxP-regulated environments ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Design and execute Functional Integration Testing (FIT) test cases.
• Prepare and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scenarios.
• Participate in Agile incremental testing cycles.
• Track, report, and manage defects using Jira or similar test management tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, regulatory, and business teams to ensure effective communication and accurate documentation.
• Maintain detailed testing documentation and contribute to continuous test process improvements.

Required Skills :

• Minimum 4+ Years of experience in manual testing in GxP-compliant environments.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in FIT test case design and execution.
• Expertise in UAT test design and coordination.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong defect management capabilities.

• This is a hybrid role; candidates must be willing to work from a Capgemini office as required.
• Remote-only profiles will not be considered.

A Day in the Life:

• A Day in the Life Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements.
• Review feature specifications and design detailed test cases.
• Perform manual tests on payment gateway systems, including transaction flows and API validations.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA and prioritize them for resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure system stability after updates.
• Participate in team discussions to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Document test results and prepare for upcoming sprint activities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web-based payment systems.
2. Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, API, and end-to-end testing of payment gateway features.
3. Test core modules including transaction processing, authentication, encryption, payment methods (Credit/Debit, UPI, Wallets, etc.), and refunds.
4. Ensure compliance with standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 8583, and EMV where applicable.
5. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and raise quality issues.
6. Identify, log, track, and manage defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
7. Build and maintain automated test suites using tools like Postman, TestNG, RestAssured, etc.
8. Validate integration with third-party payment processors and banks.
9. Perform load testing and performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
10. Ensure browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness testing

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications, with at least 1-2 years of experience in the payment gateway, fintech, banking, or e-commerce domains.
• Strong understanding of payment flow, transaction lifecycle, and settlement processes.
• Hands-on experience with API Collection API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools like Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Proficiency in Java, and frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber.
• Experience with SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with security testing practices and standards relevant to payment systems.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in agile/scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume transaction systems with low-latency requirements.
• Knowledge of emerging payment technologies like blockchain, UPI, and real-time payments
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester of a minimum 4 years

Must have knowledge in API and Selenium Automation

Must have knowledge of SQL and Linux

Working knowledge of test management Excellent communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Base Criteria

Candidate worked with a premium Institution or premium product/app will be a great plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS or BS in Computer Science or a related subject.
• At least five (5+) years of web application testing and automation experience.
• Taking complete ownership of product testing efforts.
• Proficiency in Java/ Python or any other Object-Oriented Language.
• Experience of Selenium & WebServices or REST API testing or backend testing
• Ability to design and develop test automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience in CI/ CD setup preferably with Jenkin
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expert in methodically developing use-cases-
• Expert at writing automation test cases using Selenium.
• Expert at testing the web application for both functionality and performance.
• Understands what world-class quality for SAAS Products 
• Expert at communicating the QA results with the engineering teams
• Expert at increasing visibility for blocker/critical issues.

Design test plans, write test cases, review functional requirement documentation, and present test strategies for team review

• Conduct integration, regression, ad-hoc, and edge-case testing as part of release cycles
• Analyze complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system
• Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions
• Participate in release management and post deployment testing
• Work closely with developer team to ensure proper test coverage is done
• Documentation and Release cycle

Job Profile Requirement : 

Experience of testing web applications, mobile applications.

• Knowledge of Responsive Testing
• Working knowledge of functional, GUI, Performance and Regression testing
• Strong knowledge of QA procedures, principles, and tools.
• Strong verbal and written (technical) communication skills to explain bugs and other issues identified and produce bug reports, documentation and feedback to both product owners and software developers.
• Ability to work in an environment of perfection and compliance to web standards and high design quality benchmarks.
• Strong organisational and time management skills - know what you need to do, and DO IT!

• Having 6+ experience as a QA/SDET
• Having good knowledge on iOS/Android App based apps testing.
• Having good exposure on mobile based application testing and testing process.
• Good knowledge on backend API testing
• Good in writing manual test cases with all possible scenarios.
• Good exposure on JIRA, Zypher and QC.
• Good in debugging skills and ELK stack.
• Good to have experience in Java and automation technologies
