Job Description:

·        5+ years of experience in manual testing, test case design, execution, and defect tracking.

·        Experience in Salesforce QA testing.

·        Proficient in using tools like JIRA for test management, defect tracking.

·        Strong knowledge of QA testing methodologies that cover all aspects of software testing, including functional testing, UI/UX testing and usability testing .Should be fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

EXCITED ABOUT YOUR TASKS?

● Lead the manual testing efforts for Incruiter’s SaaS applications (web)

● Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios.

● Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing to ensure high-quality releases.

● Use Postman to validate and test APIs. Identify, log, and track bugs to closure using tools like Jira, TestRail, and Bugzilla.

● Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.

● Prepare and maintain QA documentation (test reports, defect analysis, test strategies).

● Mentor and guide junior QA members, ensuring adherence to best practices.

● Own the QA sign-off process before each release.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

● 2+ years of strong hands-on experience in manual testing (SaaS/product- based environment preferred).

● Proven expertise in testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.

● Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

● Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.

● Good to have Hands-on experience with Jira, TestRail, and Bugzilla.

● Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.

● Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams.

Test Engineer

Education Qualification: B.Tech / MCA

Experience: 3+ Years (Manual Testing – Temples knowledge is preferable)

Roles & Responsibilities:

 Prepare test cases and test scenarios.

 Perform functional and regression testing.

 Identify document and track defects.

 Support UAT and production validation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases.
• Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing across multiple releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
• Prioritize testing tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Required Skills:

• Solid manual testing expertise with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Proficiency with test management and bug tracking tools.
• Ability to create and execute test cases quickly without compromising depth.
• Strong adaptability to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Good to Have (Optional):

• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software QA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

• Knowledge of the quality assurance and testing concepts, methodologies, metrics, automated testing frameworks, and documentation standards.
• Should have knowledge/experience in creating Test Plans, Test scripts, Test cases.
• Collaborate well with others. Ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms.
• Preferred knowledge/understanding of different mobile operating systems (Android, iOS)
• Preferred knowledge/experience testing both front-end (GUI)and back-end (database query) applications

• Knows how to handle tough timelines situations and not compromise quality.
• Must have experience in product management methodology such as agilenon-process oriented environment
• Should have experience in any of the ALM tools such as TFS JIRA or even be open to build application reporting structure in excel.
