Job Description – Technical Lead (Java Spring Boot + Angular)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular to lead a team of developers for a client project based out of Whitefield, Bangalore. The role requires hands-on development, design, architecture understanding, code review, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 9 developers and provide technical guidance.
• Perform hands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular.
• Drive solution design, code quality, best practices, and performance optimization.
• Work closely with the client’s product owners and architects.
• Conduct code reviews, technical grooming, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of modules with high quality.
• Mentor team members and support them in solving technical blockers.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Strong front-end experience with Angular 8+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Hands-on with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) is an added advantage.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate the team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualification:

• 3+ Years’ software development experience in Core Java, Hibernate and swing
• User Interface technologies: XML, HTML, HTML5/Application Cache /WebSQL, Backbone, Enyo, SmartClient
• Should have worked of opensource ERP OpenBravo – not mandatory, preferred.
• Proficient in SQL Queries using PostgreSQL / MySQL
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Should be able to manage development team
• Should be able to independently gather and analyze requirements with end users
• Should have developed APIs Preferably developed Mobile application / app
• Knowledge of development of Jasper Reports
• Preferably knowledgeable of business functions like sales/ purchase/ inventory
• Participate in technical design, development, testing, and documentation of plug-ins, modules or vertical requested by partners.

Lead Java Developer for Chennai based Product Company

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Java Developer with 8 to 15 years of expertise in Java development, AWS cloud infrastructure management and product development for 3 products. There is a clear path to leadership role within the organization. If you are not from Chennai, you should be willing to relocate to Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS or other cloud infrastructure management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive product vision, align cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful execution of cloud-based solutions, while providing the necessary support to the team in planning, coordination, and execution of various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product road map ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, and the stakeholders to design & develop scalable cloud solutions.
• Lead product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and iteration.

The Java Software Developer designs and develops computer applications using the Java programming language. Experience

• Experience as a Java Developer, Java Engineer, or similar role required (i.e., Spring Framework / Spring boot and J2EE development required).
• Experience designing and developing REST API / web applications.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts) a major plus.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Cloud/SAAS integration, a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field of study or equivalent level of education and experience.
