Job description

JD - Java Developer (Backend Developer)

Technical Requirement:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java, J2EE technologies.
• Expertise in doing development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring modules (Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, etc.), Hibernate, Web Services
• Worked on REST web services.
• Worked on application server : Tomcat
• Worked on Eclipse IDE
• Knowledge of Swagger, Postman
• Worked on Database like MySQL
• Worked on Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines
• Good to have knowledge of using Docker and Mongo DB

Overall Roles & responsibilities:

• Consult with client team to understand business requirements and with solution architects / team lead to understand the application architecture.
• Develop/code applications following specifications using the appropriate tools and adhering to the standard coding standards.
• Coordinate unit testing, integration testing and bug fixing with the development and quality assurance team.
• Plan for defect fixes as per priority and severity mentioned by QA team.
• J Attend daily scrum meeting with entire team and client.

Responsibilities:

• New feature development or enhancement or change request activities (Requirement analysis, Requirement documentation, Design, Coding, Review, Testing and Release process)
•  Defect Fixing (Defect analysis, route cause identification, Code change, testing, obtaining user confirmation and release process)
• Support tasks (Ticket analysis, data uploading, performance tuning, job monitoring, any analysis task, ReportGeneration and etc.,)
• Level 2 and Level 3 support (Support process adherence)
• Functional and technical or solution documentation preparation
• Execution will either be Waterfall or Agile
• The process needs to be followed as defined by RBEI or RBEI’s Customer
• Preparation & participation in the project status and review meeting

• Required 4+ years of experience in Java.

• Hands on experience creating/consuming web services and data Data queries in SQL
• 2+ years’ experience of working with geographically dispersed teams, that fall across different time zones
• Experience with distributed architecture including web services and technologies

• Working knowledge of JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high quality development environment

We are looking for a highly motivated developer with at least 1+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java to join our startup. You would be playing a pivotal role in contributing to the initial tech stack. You would be further responsible for designing and implementing product requirements that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable. You should be comfortable working across different technologies/frameworks that we work on - Microservices, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, MySQL, Kubernetes, AWS.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and build scalable REST APIs on Spring Boot
• Develop, test, tune for performance and deploy microservices
• Collaborate with the team, optimize and refactor the back-end architecture
• Maintain high standards of quality for code, documentation and other deliverables
• Active cross-team coordination would be expected
