Wissen Technology is now hiring for a Java Developer

Location : Bangalore (The candidate must be based in Bangalore, as an in-person interview is a mandatory part of the selection process)

Notice Period: Immediate to Serving Notice Period & Up to 30 Days max

Skills: Hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Algorithms, Data Structure and SQL

Note: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier college or university is must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test low-latency, high-volume client-facing applications.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-scale, n-tier applications for the investment banking/capital markets domain.
• Implement microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot and other modern frameworks.
• Work extensively with Core Java 5.0 and above, Spring Framework, and CXF
• Optimize applications for multi-threading and high-performance server-side development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient solutions
• Work with RDBMS (preferably Sybase) to handle large-scale data processing.
• Develop and maintain applications on Unix/Linux environments
• Utilize enterprise application design patterns to build robust and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring application stability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-based deployment.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and CXF
• Experience in developing and optimizing applications for high-volume, multi-threaded environments
• Solid understanding of financial domain applications, sales, and trading platforms
• Proficiency in working with relational databases (Sybase preferred)
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate and present design ideas effectively.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier college or university is must.

 Configuration, administration, customization, and maintenance of Okta CIAM environments.

• Design and maintain configuration manuals and documentation required to sustain the Okta CIAM platform.

• Review Okta platform configurations to ensure the solution is optimized and secure for business needs.

• Support and resolve system incidents, problems, and changes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with designing and building Okta solution platforms.

• At least one Okta certification in last 2 years - Okta Certified Administrator, Certified Consultant or Certified Developer certification

• Strong understanding of Single Sign On and relevant standards (OIDC, OAuth, SAML)

• 1+ year of development experience using RESTful APIs in any programming language

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to collaborate and interact productively with team members and key stakeholders.

• Working knowledge of XML, JAVA, REST, SOAP etc
• Basic knowledge of SQL, including the ability to author ad-hoc database queries.
• Is comfortable writing code in Ruby, Python, JavaScript, and Java and enjoys learning new languages and technologies.
• Has experience integrating  APIs (major plus)
• Experienced integrating RESTful APIs into web applications (a plus)
• Is experienced with Github or the likes.
• Should have worked on Payment Gateway Applications.

• Has a technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics (MBA is an asset)
• Technical Product/Software certifications an asset
• Has 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar client-facing role
• Has previous experience in a traditional software engineering or Implementation role.
• Has strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experienced with Salesforce is a plus
• Solution-driven, able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently, able to work alone or in a team, able to work with no supervision and under pressure
• Excels in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrates professional communication skills on technical and business-related subjects
• Experience working with payment gateways a major plus including ecommerce and Retail Experience with continuous integration and test-driven development methodologies a plus
• Excellent time management, organization, and planning skills are essential
• Flexibility to travel as required to meet with clients
• Ability to comprehend and translate complex technical issues and apply to business solutions
• Demonstrate ability to articulate complex technical terms or processes into business language
• Ability to synthesize technical information and apply to business solutions
• Able to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer and partner expectations
• Demonstrated success in customer and partner relationship management
• You are motivated, think outside of the box, and understand the purpose of process and procedures

• Good experience in Javabackend/J2EE, Eclipse, Javascript, XML, Data Structures, Database 
• Should have good experience working in Springboot.
• Good experience in JSON / RESTful API / Web Services.
• Experience with Design Patterns.
• Experience in AWS and Queuing systems is an advantage
• Basic estimation experience
• Self starter and quick learner
• Should be able to work in a growing environment that is very dynamic and challenging
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Highly self motivated and directed
• Ability to work without a lot of supervision
• Experience in working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
