Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Back-end Implementation: Authorization, Authentication, Modular design
• Application Development: Documentation, code quality, Unit Testing, Optimization, Bug fixing.)
• Back-end Operations (build tools, deployment, speed: (app, tests, builds, deploys), monitoring errors/logs, and stability).
• Review the created data model & ask any necessary clarifying questions before starting on work
• Write API code to implement the action on visual elements.
• Develop Json Web Services and Web applications.
• Create prototypes and staging sites for review and feedback
• Optimize websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds
• Maintain websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements
• Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems
• Collaborate with members of the website team, including designers and front-end developers, to consistently improve functionality and user-friendliness of web applications
• Maintain updated knowledge of the development industry and any advancements in technology
• Meet tight deadlines as required
• Knowledge of the common application/web security and OWASP vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of the encryption algorithms to protect sensitive information.
• Knowledge of PII, PCI, HIPPA, and GDPR compliance and how to implement.
• Understanding of security breaches of data-in-transit and data-at-rest and knowledge in implementation for both.
• Knowledge/Aware of finding the vulnerabilities of the third-party components/libraries used in the application and remediating vulnerabilities.

 

 

Technical Skills: Java,Spring boot, Rest API, Json, JPA and/or Hibernate, SQL, AWS

Database : MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB

Other : Tomcat, Eclipse, Oauth, JWT, Git.

What we are scouting for

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience in IT
• 2+ years’ experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
• A strong hands-on programming knowledge in Core Java including Java 8. To solve the problem given in optimized way.
• Strong knowledge on the Data structure and algorithm.
• Experience developing and designing API integrations using SOAP/RESTful
• Should be able to understand the time complexity of the existing algorithm. Able to compare different algorithms available.
• Expert understanding of the object-oriented design and programming concepts
• Know the fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming using Java;
• Used SQL & NoSQL solutions
• Experience in GIT/SVN, build tools such as Ant/Maven/Gradle
• Experience in JUnit, Sonarqube, Mockito, Jacoco, Maven & Jenkins

Technical Competency – Nice to have

• Experience in Dependency Injection, Annotation, Validations, Auto Wiring
• Good knowledge in internal working on Memory Management, Transaction management
• Knowledge on DevOps pipeline tools like Jenkins, tools for Code quality scan, tools for security scan
• Spring boot

• 5+ years of software development experience including 4+ years of deep, hands on experience in building highly scalable web-based backend applications using Java and Spring ecosystem
• BE/BTech in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Great problem-solving skills with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge
• Has extensively used the Spring ecosystem – Spring Boot, REST API Development, ORM tools like Hibernate
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Multi-Threading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
• Experience of coaching and mentoring junior developers with good delegation and time-management skills
• Implemented CI/CD in any of the projects done
• Strong understanding of Agile and Lean software development processes and practices
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of Elastic Search
• Has designed relational databases; conversant with SQL
• Knowledge of Jenkins/ Docker and Devops
• Knowledge of Redis or similar technology
• Worked with some or all of these AWS services: EC2; lambda; SQS/SNS; Elastic Search, Transcoder
• Understanding and experience of building services and applications using principles of service-oriented architecture, preferable using REST or SOAP
• Contributed in the creation of end-to-end automation tests (functional or non-functional)
• Worked with WebSocket, Push notifications etc

• Experience in ELK stack
• Knowledge of Video tools like FFMPEG, Wowza / Node Media Streaming
• Understanding of different video formats, streaming, CDN etc
• Understanding of Machine Learning Models, Pipelines etc
