About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team and contribute to building scalable, efficient, and secure backend services. This internship offers hands-on experience in API development, database management, and backend architecture, with guidance from experienced developers. Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to support application functionality and data flow.

• Support database design, optimization, and query performance improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with one or more backend languages/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Basic knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Role & Responsibility

As a Backend Developer, You will be involved in all aspects of development playing a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment and help develop best practices for future development. You will be working closely with Tech, Design and Quality team to build and launch the product.

• Code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application. We expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship
