Design and build RESTful web service APIs in Java that enable and support our member-facing web applications and our partners.

4+ years of software development experience utilizing Java with at least 2 years’ experience working with REST Web Services.

Relentlessly pursue continuous improvement in our products and processes.

Build clean, documented, testable code using TDD, JUnit, Postman, and Swagger.

Build performant services, and be able to diagnose and resolve performance issues at all layers of the system.

Strong experience designing database tables and writing SQL queries in an RDBMS, such as Oracle.

Strong foundational skills in Java and Object-Oriented Programming are required.

Build SSO and web service integrations with our partners using technologies such as SAML and SOAP.

Must understand API security and have experience working with an API Gateway (such as Tyk) for API authorization.

Requirements

 Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a skilled Backend or Full-stack Developer. Experience in the insurance domain is appreciated.

Strong experience with Spring Boot 3, Java 17 or newer, and Maven.

Experience with PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Sonar, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Mockito, IntelliJ IDEA, and GitHub repository.

Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (v7 or v8), including BPMN workflows, DMN decision tables, and REST API integration.

Experience with Angular TS and/or AWS, Kafka is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

·      Creating APIs with supporting documentation for users who trade algorithmically directly via APIs and not via the frontend

·      Work on our p2p trading product and KYC process

·      Building the perpetual futures trading product and integrating data from 3rd party APIs

·      Performing unit tests, integrated tests, performance tests and end to end tests

·      Working on various other backend tasks that the startup requires to be done
