Job Description – Software Engineer (Java Spring Boot + Angular)

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore (Work from Client Office)

Role Overview

We are hiring Software Engineers with strong experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular to work on enterprise-level applications at the client office in Whitefield, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Build interactive front-end modules using Angular.
• Collaborate with the lead, QA, and product team for high-quality delivery.
• Understand requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Fix bugs, optimize code, and improve application performance.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong coding skills in Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API development.
• Experience working with Angular.
• Good understanding of Microservices concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and build tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Note: One technical round is mandatory to be taken F2F from office.

Role: Engineer/Sr Engineer -Java 

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: 

The Product Development Engineer is responsible for the front-end development of modules for enlivening CEM. 

The engineer is responsible for end to end delivery of specific components in the module and integrating them with existing modules 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Working with technical architects, able to convert the architecture into design and code in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, and NodeJS. 

• Able to generate LLD documents. 

• Ability to write Quality code with minimum defects. 

• Unit Test and follow the coding standards. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: 

• 5+ years of strong programming and logical skills in Java (Spring Boot), AngularJS, Object-Oriented Javascript, NodeJS and HTML5 

• Hands-on Experience with Java (Spring Boot), and MySQL is mandatory. Must have completed at least 2 full projects using Spring boot and AngularJS.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in Spring JPA and RESTful web services implementation.

• NodeJS experience is value add 

• Should have participated in, and be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices.

• Must be able to mentor and guide junior technical resources. 

• One who is proactive and comes forward with technology-related initiatives. Motivated selfstarter. 

• Good communication skills. English - Oral and Written.

Job Description for Java:

• Experience in JAVA programming and application development using Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate and Microservices

• Experience in building products with Full stack technologies, with excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs and OOA/D

• Experience in MySQL, Mongo dB (or other NOSQL db’s), REST, Web Sockets, JavaScript, Ajax

• Experience with GO a plus

• Experience with one of JavaScript Frameworks (React, Angular, Vue etc.)

• Experience in Rest API development using Spring MVC or Spring Boot

• Able to define, design, implement complex, and scalable systems

• Good team player and communication skills

• Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD)

You will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple SaaS applications in the social media space. • Develop high-quality code to implement features that help analytics 
• Write unit tests for all new code 
• Improve code quality by applying solid design principles

• Work closely with Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer to suggest and implement architectural / design changes

• A Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent degree
• Experienced in building enterprise grade products for minimum of 2 years, that are highly scalable
• Experienced with building Frontend Applications and well versed with Javascript/ReactJS Design patterns, Object Oriented JS, including DOM Manipulation
• Familiarity with Rest API frameworks and patterns 
• Well versed with one or more of these technologies: 
• Frontend: Frameworks - ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Apollo 
• CSS, TypeScript, Bootstrap, ESLint 
• Unit Testing Frameworks - Jest
• Programming Languages: Java
• Backend: DropWizard, Spring Boot etc
• Storage: MySQL
• Someone who understands git, pull requests and good software development practices 

• Knowledge of one or more of the following:
• GraphQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL
• Familiarity with Build Systems like Jenkins, AWS Services (EC2, CloudFormation)
