Job Description – Software Engineer (Java Spring Boot + Angular)

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore (Work from Client Office)

Experience: 4–8 years

Role Overview

We are hiring Software Engineers with strong experience in Java Spring Boot and Angular to work on enterprise-level applications at the client office in Whitefield, Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Build interactive front-end modules using Angular.
• Collaborate with the lead, QA, and product team for high-quality delivery.
• Understand requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Fix bugs, optimize code, and improve application performance.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong coding skills in Java 8+, Spring Boot, RESTful API development.
• Experience working with Angular.
• Good understanding of Microservices concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and build tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Note: One technical round is mandatory to be taken F2F from office.

Work with Business Analyst/end users to understand business requirements

2. Develop Prototype, Design documents.

3. Develop code in Java spring framework and Angular to meet requirements.

4. Involve in Testing cycle and track until the Production migration.

5. Follow Quality procedures and develop documents as per SDLC methodology.

6. Receiving support calls from MES Users and generation of tickets (manually or through system)

7. Resolution of the calls

8. Routing unresolved and higher level (L2 & L3) calls to central MES teams

9. Keeping track of SLAs

10. Maintaining ticket resolution track and Resolves change request also assigned time to time.

• Must have 5 to 10 years of experience on building highly scalable web based enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Javascript

• Must have experience on front end development using javascript, ReactJS

• Architect and co-create, a highly scalable, available, resilient & distributed applications and multi-tenant Platforms
• Highly hands on with coding/designing, troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring, leading and developing a large scale multi-tenant software components on the Platform in Agile based methodology to provide self-service capabilities (MUST HAVE)
• Must have knowledge of Data structures, must have ability to solve data structure programs on platforms like hakerrank, leetcode  (MUST HAVE)
• Proficiency in engineering practices and writing high quality code, with expertise in Java/J2EE.

• Exposure to NOSQL DB and Relational database

• Exposure to RabbitMQ ,Kafka and Redis Cache

• Working in a team environment, contribute significantly to application solution design and to the high-level design of application software.
• Detailed design, code and test of Cloud Platform software. Provide automated test software in conjunction with application software.

Skills: Java, spring, hibernate, AWS(mandatory), microservices architecture, redis(good to have)

Team Size: Current team size of tech team is 65+

Interview Process: 4 rounds( 1st round - Problem Solving/Data Structures, 2nd Round- Coding, 3rd Round- Technical Discussion and Final round with the HR).

Location: Bangalore(Currently WFH but later on will be following a hybrid model)

· Hands on Java Engineer, with experience building consumer facing or enterprise applications using Java stack

· Exposure to building service oriented distributed systems

· In building systems that process big data in a distributed environment, either in real time streaming or offline batching.
