Role Overview :

This is not a typical ticket-based engineering role. You will take end-to-end ownership of systems—designing architecture, building scalable solutions, and solving real-world performance challenges.

Mandatory Skills :

Java/Spring Boot or Node.js, System Design (HLD/LLD), Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ), Low-Latency APIs, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, AI-assisted development (Copilot/Cursor/Claude)

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and build scalable backend systems (Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar).
• Architect and implement event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, pub/sub).
• Develop secure and reliable financial systems with strong data integrity.
• Solve scalability and performance challenges in fintech/crypto environments.
• Own features end-to-end: design → development → deployment → monitoring.
• Work with real-time data pipelines (WebSockets, streaming, event sourcing).
• Define service contracts and optimize system architecture.

AI-First Engineering (Must-Have Mindset) :

You will :

• Use tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude in daily development
• Follow spec-driven development using structured instructions
• Review, validate, and ship AI-generated code with strong engineering judgment

Core Requirements :

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of System Design (HLD/LLD, Distributed Systems).
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, async pipelines).
• Hands-on experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Understanding of security, performance optimization, and reliability.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Exposure to React / React Native is a plus.

Good to Have (Differentiators) :

• Experience in FinTech / Crypto / Web3 / Blockchain.
• Built systems for trading, payments, or real-time financial data.
• Experience with AI agents, automation pipelines, or agent-based systems.
• Exposure to parallel AI workflows (coding / testing / refactoring).
• Contributions to open source or technical blogs.
• Experience handling production-scale systems.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Core Java (J2SE) and J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful services and API design is a must.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a must.
• Knowledge of design patterns is a must.
• Strong knowledge of Exception handling and logging mechanism is a must.
• Agile scrum participation experience. Work experience with several agile teams on an application built with microservices and event-based architectures to be deployed in hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments.
• Good knowledge of Spring framework (MVC, Cloud, Data and Security. Etc) and ORM framework like JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience in managing the Source Code Base through Version Control tools like SVN, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.

The Role

We are looking for a middleware software engineer to join the team. In this role you will be working on designing, developing and optimizing the middleware stack for current as well as new companion robot products.

Work Experience & Qualifications

2 years or higher industry experience in the Software domain. No restrictions on degree/qualifications; only skills matter. (* for Junior role)

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing software on the product to enhance current functionality and add new features. Lead the technical delivery of assigned tasks/projects.
• Consistent coordination and collaboration with the Backend, AI, Product and QA team for efficient development cycles and testing for new features and improvements.
• Operating in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of critical business and production issues
• Strong technical leadership with experience building software engineering teams. Demonstrate strong ambiguity resolution skills to be able to break down ambiguous problems into simpler milestones and delegate to junior engineers

Requirements & Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Expertise in C/C++ and Java
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
• Experience with implementing various communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
• Experience working on Embedded Linux OS and Android
• Demonstrated experience in developing multi-threaded applications
• Experience with IPC including socket programming
• Should have hands on experience and thorough knowledge in STL, BOOST understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with using Git as a version control system
• Excellent coding and debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Configuration, administration, customization, and maintenance of Okta CIAM environments.

• Design and maintain configuration manuals and documentation required to sustain the Okta CIAM platform.

• Review Okta platform configurations to ensure the solution is optimized and secure for business needs.

• Support and resolve system incidents, problems, and changes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with designing and building Okta solution platforms.

• At least one Okta certification in last 2 years - Okta Certified Administrator, Certified Consultant or Certified Developer certification

• Strong understanding of Single Sign On and relevant standards (OIDC, OAuth, SAML)

• 1+ year of development experience using RESTful APIs in any programming language

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to collaborate and interact productively with team members and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Experience and working knowledge of Java 8, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Microservices and REST API is mandatory
• Expert understanding of the object-oriented design and programming concepts
• Strong problem solving skills, data structures and algorithms and multithreading
• Good understanding of AWS and cloud-native technologies
• Knowledge of AWS services - RDS, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Kinesis. Experience of working with AWS SDK is preferred.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and Jenkins pipeline
• Experience of writing unit tests using Junit/Mockito
• Knowledge of Integration Testing framework like Cucumber is required.
• Proficient in Git commands and branching concepts

You must have:

• Strong technical aptitude for any programming language, preferred, Core JAVA and Spring Boot and other Spring libraries, Eureka, Hystrix etc.
• Experience of creating architecture or developing web services using Open source technologies and to integrate applications with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra
• Solid understanding of OOPS, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience on Kafka / Scala / Storm / Elastic Search and Web Services like RESTful.
• Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems
• Extensive experience with version control systems (Git is preferred) and issue tracking systems (JIRA is preferred)
