Required Skills:

Experience - 3+.

Experience in Core Java 5.0 and above, CXF, Spring.

Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale n-tier applications for financial domain. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.

Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications.

Good development experience with RDBMS, preferably Sybase database.

Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development.

Experience in sales and trading platforms in investment banking/capital markets.

Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux.

Excellent problem solving and coding skills in Java.

Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

Should have the ability to express their design ideas and thoughts.

What you will be doing

• Building and maintaining Java micro services.
• Develop new features and improve existing features of the application.
• Coding, Implementing, Unit Testing and Documenting Java based services.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Code reviews and ensuring adherence to software development standards.
• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
• Participating in requirements gathering and functional specification activities.
• Resolving and helping to mitigate production issues.

• Proficient with SpringBoot, Hibernate, JUnit and other Java frameworks apart from RDBMS and NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Gauge or other BDD frameworks and experience in Fintech would be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Define the code review process for the team to follow and perform code reviews.
• Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
• Ensure application designs conform with business goals.
• Develop and test software & Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.

Eligibility:

• 3+ yrs of experience developing web applications using J2EE / Java.
• Possess knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices-related technologies, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Rest API, JavaScript, and XML.
• Experience developing enterprise-level web applications and RESTful APIs using Microservices.
• Experience in API Management & in using version control and CI / CD tools.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Min 5+ years of experience in the JAVA/J2EE.

• Hands-on experience in software development using J2EE Frameworks Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, Hibernate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Execute a full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good knowledge of Core Java (Minimum Version 8)
• J2EE with a good understanding of Servlets and JSP
• Experience in Spring Modules – Spring IOC and AOP, Spring Boot (version 2 plus), JDBC
• Expertise in design and development of various web and enterprise – level applications using Java/J2EE technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Rest services.
• Web Services (including SOAP, XML, XML Schema, JSON, and REST)
• Tools required: Maven,Eclipse, Github, and Swagger
• Good knowledge of SQL and Redis (NOSql)
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Ability to develop software in Java or any other OOPS languages
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Experience in developing Web Applications using at least one popular Web Framework (Spring)
• Experience with test-driven development
• Proficiency in software engineering tools

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related fields.
• Eight to Ten years of Software Engineering or Software Development experience, preferably in a related field.
