IBM Sterling OMS Functional Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Planning & Order Management Consultant/Lead with 8+ years of experience to lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, integration, and production support across Oracle Fusion Planning and Order Management modules. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Order Management, and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, along with good understanding of RICE components and Oracle Cloud best practices

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Planning and Order Management implementation, configuration, and support.
• Configure Order Management including order orchestration, fulfillment, pricing, shipping, and O2C processes.
• Configure Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP, including planning parameters, demand/supply plans, forecasting methods, and exception management.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend Oracle Cloud standard solutions with minimal customization.
• Lead business requirement workshops and translate requirements into functional solution designs.
• Prepare functional specifications, RICE specifications, and lean design documents.
• Work with technical teams on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions (RICE), integrations, data migration, OTBI/BI reporting, and extensions.
• Perform functional unit testing and support SIT/UAT, including test-script preparation and defect resolution.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot functional issues, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional Oracle SCM teams.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to Oracle practice development.
• Review quarterly Oracle Fusion Cloud updates, assess their impact, and recommend required configuration/process changes.

Good to Have

• Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certification.

• Exposure to other Oracle SCM modules such as Inventory, Procurement, and Global Order Promising (GOP).

• Lead end-to-end solution design across the Order-to-Cash cycle: order capture, pricing and discounting, order orchestration, global order promising/ATP, fulfillment, shipping, and integration to Receivables/Revenue Management.
• Own configuration decisions for Order Management (order orchestration, workflows, order import),
• Advanced Pricing (pricing strategies, price lists, discounting rules), GOP (sourcing rules, ATP rules, supply allocation), and Shipping Execution (shipping parameters, pick/pack/ship, carrier integration).
• Review and approve functional design documents (BR100/BP080-equivalent), configuration workbooks, and test scripts produced by the team.
• Troubleshoot complex, cross-module issues (e.g., orders stuck in orchestration, pricing discrepancies, promising/ATP failures, shipment exceptions) and drive root-cause resolution.

Delivery & Project Management

• Manage project plans, timelines, and resourcing for OTC workstreams across implementations, rollouts, and AMS/support engagements.
• Own client-facing status reporting, risk/issue escalation, and steering committee updates.
• Coordinate cutover, data migration (FBDI/HDL for orders, price lists, sourcing rules), and go-live activities for the OTC track.
• Manage scope, identify change requests, and support estimation/effort sizing for new work.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Oracle Fusion functional/techno-functional consultants.
• Conduct performance reviews, allocate work, and support career development of direct reports.
• Act as the primary escalation point for client stakeholders on OTC-related matters.
• Support presales activities: solution demos, proposal responses, and effort estimates for OTC/Pricing/GOP/Shipping scope.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Establish and enforce testing standards (unit, SIT, UAT) for OTC processes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Oracle Redwood features, automation, and standard functionality to reduce customization.
• Stay current on Oracle quarterly release updates impacting Order Management, Pricing, GOP, and Shipping, and assess/communicate impact to stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud SCM – Order Management / Order-to-Cash (OTC) Consultant with 8+ years of experience in Oracle Applications and strong expertise in end-to-end OTC processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management, SCM modules, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation/support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management implementations and support engagements.
• Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes including order capture, pricing, order orchestration, fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, and returns.
• Configure and support Oracle Order Management Cloud, including order orchestration, orchestration processes, fulfillment lines, holds, approvals, and order imports.
• Work across Oracle SCM modules such as Inventory, Shipping, Procurement, Product Hub, and Global Order Promising (GOP).
• Integrate Order Management with Accounts Receivables, Receivables Accounting, Tax, and other Oracle ERP/SCM modules.
• Configure and support pricing, discounts, price lists, and pricing strategies using Oracle Advanced Pricing.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions and functional specifications.
• Support OTBI/BI Publisher reporting, interfaces, integrations, data migration, testing, and production deployment.
• Work with technical teams on REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, web services, and integration requirements.
• Lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
• Act as an SME and collaborate with business stakeholders, offshore/onshore teams, and technical teams.
