About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and Django to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with payment/fintech companies and be passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python/Django.
• Work on integrations with payment gateways, banking APIs, and financial services.
• Ensure system security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
• Prior experience in payment/fintech domain (mandatory).
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of payment systems, PCI compliance, security protocols, and transaction workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of data security, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance in fintech.

2. Candidate should have Experience delivering tech projects (data infra / API / AI-ML)

3. Candidate should have Strong SDLC + technical understanding (code-level discussions)

4. Candidate should have Cloud + CI/CD + DevOps familiarity

5. Candidate should have Programming knowledge (Python/Java) + SQL

6. Candidate should have Experience with Project Management and engineering tools (Jira, GitHub, Notion, Slack)

7. Candidate should have Strong skills in sprint planning, roadmap ownership, project tracking, and delivery management

8. Candidate should have Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills

9. Candidate should be Open to travel across India as per project requirem

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Database ERD design

2. Making Sure system is architected in a scalable manner

3. Using full knowledge of NodeJS Express React and Mongo / MySQL to create a error free software

Desired Candidate Profile

1. At least 1 years of work experience with MERN

2. Is good with GitHub

3. Understands React, Redux, Server Side Rendering, and Clean Code

Should be able to help user acceptance testing
