About the Internship
Monsoonfish is opening its doors to talented, curious, and ambitious final-year design students who are ready for a reality check of the world. Real design, real clients, and real impact. If you’re looking for a killer graduation project experience, this is it.
What You Will Experience
At Monsoonfish, you won’t just see design happen; you will be part of it. Interns work closely with our design team and gain first-hand exposure to real client projects across diverse industries. This is the place where your ideas matter, your design voice develops, and you grow.
What You Will Learn
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to:
• Work directly on live projects with real clients and real constraints
• Participate in user research and usability studies
• Learn how to translate insights into thoughtful UX flows
• Develop design systems and visual languages
• Build high-fidelity UI screens across web and mobile
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX strategists, developers, and project managers
• Understand end-to-end product thinking from concept to delivery
• Present your work, defend your decisions, and refine your storytelling
• Experience the pace, excitement, and responsibility of a professional design studio.
Who Should Apply
Are you the kind of design student who enjoys finding patterns in chaos?
Who can’t resist asking “why would a user do that?”
Who loves solving problems that don’t have just one right answer?
If you nodded, we’d love to chat with you. This internship is for final-year design students who are:
- Passionate about UI/UX and want to learn how real products take shape
- Curious and observant — not just about design, but about people
- Comfortable with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or anything that helps ideas come alive
- Eager to make their graduation project meaningful — something you’ll actually want to show off
- Excited to collaborate, debate, learn, and design in an environment where creativity truly flows
What We’re Looking For
We’re not searching for perfection. We’re searching for perspective. You might fit right in if you:
- Enjoy thinking through problems before jumping to solutions
- Can explain your design decisions (and question your own)
- Appreciate feedback and know how to build with it, not defend against it
- Care about craft and consistency, but also about purpose and people
- Bring your own spark, be it quiet insight, curiosity, or courage to challenge a norm
We value clarity, curiosity, and character just as much as your design skills.
Why Monsoonfish
You’ll work on real projects that impact real users—not just academic assignments. You’ll collaborate with designers who think critically, experiment confidently, and push creative boundaries. You’ll learn through hands-on work, thoughtful discussions, and guidance from people who genuinely care about your growth. You’ll join an energetic, collaborative culture where your graduation project carries purpose and relevance. And while the work will challenge you, it will also be engaging—because the environment and the experience matter.
How to Apply
Share your portfolio and resume with us, along with a brief note on why you’d like to do your graduation project with Monsoonfish. Show us your perspective, your process, and your passion.

About Moonraft
We are here to advance the human experience through design-driven innovation. Design, to us, is all about creating new meanings, while art is about self-expression and emotive appeal. Bringing these two creative disciplines together and operating at their intersection with business and technology, we drive business innovations with differentiating customer experience. We place the human at the centre, bringing quantitative and qualitative techniques together to develop consumer insights. Our techno-creative team, bridging consumer insights, business understanding, and advanced technology skills, then builds humanistic technology solutions.
We believe experimentation is at the core of every innovation. Radical innovation, in our view, is just an event recognised in hindsight when a number of trial-and-error attempts spark off a breakthrough. Our approach embraces rapid prototyping and empirical evidence in everything we do. As the name says, we are Moonraft Innovation Labs, driving innovation through experimentation.
"Rafters", who inhabit Moonraft, recognize ideas as the boss. They live by imagination, simplicity, and speed. Our egalitarian culture and environment are designed for rafters to thrive and deliver elegant solutions for complex problems.
