About the Role

We are looking for a software engineer to join our core platform team. The Platform team is a small group of experienced engineers managing ProjectDiscovery infrastructure, improving developer velocity, and ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our software. We are highly engaged in shaping the engineering culture at ProjectDiscovery, and operate as “the execution arm” working closely with founders and our CTO.

• Own codebase health, iteration velocity, and developer experience for all of ProjectDiscovery engineering.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Work across the stack, from crafting intuitive front-end interfaces to building robust backend systems.
• Design and implement secure, maintainable APIs for seamless integration of tools and platforms.

Infovenz is looking for a full stack web application developer who possess strong knowledge in web application development and a passion to build innovative enterprise applications using PHP framework technologies preferably in CodeIgniter and Laravel. You will create new applications from scratch, enhance existing systems and provide user support. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through developing, testing and launching.

• Write a clean, secured and high standard PHP code.
• Work with clients to understand and analyze the requirements and implement the functionalities accordingly.

• Optimize back-end code, database queries and functions through Code Review and Project Review Sessions.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in handling business web applications.
• Candidates with higher experience and relevant skills will be considered for lead roles
• Strong knowledge in PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter (CI) or Laravel
• Strong knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, JSON and responsive design
• Having knowledge in NodeJS, Angular, ReactJS and other technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge in SQL programming and writing store procedures.
• Prior knowledge or able to quickly adapt to MS SQL Server
• Able to contribute as a team member and individually.
• Good knowledge of version control tools (Bit Bucket or GIT) and coding standards
• Having knowledge in system design and architect is a plus.
• Knowledge in RESTFUL web API services
• Excellent troubleshooting, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experienced or interest to learn other programming languages (eg. .Net) or other technologies (Mobile Programming) is an added advantage.

As a Full stack developer, you are expected to deliver end to end assigned task. Primarily you would be working on JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Node JS, HTML, CSS and taking care of API integration.

It runs crunching algorithms and keyword discovery routines using distributed computing, housing the entire data in distributed caches and sharded MySQL databases.

To be a geek at Merkle|Sokrati you need to know how to build scalable and high-performance systems. Nothing at Sokrati is small. We start with a proof of concept that demands a traffic rate of 10M+! To achieve any of this you need to understand Distributed Systems, Distributed Caching, High-scale Databases. And we possess the skills to create software that makes this entire heterogeneous system function together even if it runs on 100 boxes.
