About the Role:-
We are looking for a highly skilled React Native Developer to
collaborate with a team of developers and UX designers to
develop and maintain a web application that will be launched
on multiple platforms such as android or iOS. The candidate
will be responsible for building native web applications with a
focus on front-end development. The ideal candidate is an
advanced React Native Developer who can build dynamic,
high-performing, and responsive UI for our web applications.

Requirements

1.Minimum 3yrs of exp in building React native apps for android and iOS
2.Solid understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems.
3.Must have worked on hardware integration with the apps.
4.Understanding of various navigation models in mobile apps
5.Good at debugging, testing, performance optimization.
6.Interpersonal skills: good team player, ready to take challenges ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

1.Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
2.Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
3.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

Must-haves
● You need to be excited about the problem that we are trying to solve
● 4+ years of experience building applications in Native Android
(JAVA/Kotlin)
● Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
● Strong Js fundamentals - You should be able to contribute partially to
our existing React Native development as well
● Ability to give clarity and communicate well with the team, including
Product, Backend and Dev-Ops (if and when needed)
● Ability to use profiling tools well, getting to root causes of bugs fast
● Ability to pick and work on adjacent technologies if and when
required (Eg: If the best performance monitoring solution needs a
basic firebase setup, that should not be a blocker for you to go ahead
and do so)
● Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of
the highest quality.
● Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help
implement mission-critical software fixes
● You need to be comfortable working in a remote environment (Good
internet connection and availability on phone is needed)
● Deep understanding of android architecture
● Understanding of inter app communication
● System design thinking
Good to have:
● Experience with React Native or similar Hybrid Frameworks
● Experience in Test Driven Development
● Ability to tell Product what creates better User Experience, ability to
tell backend what API responses will help the user get a faster load
time
● Inquisitiveness to understand the system as a whole, and not only be
stuck to your domain of expertise (Eg: Asking questions like why does
this particular response take so much time as compared to others,
and brainstorming with the backend engineer on how to improve on
it)

Navtech is looking for a React Native Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. 

As a React Native Developer, interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Working as a React Native Developer at Navtech, you will: 

 

• Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, architecture design, code development and testing. 
• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across platforms. 
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms. 

• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native. 
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.

• Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints. 
• Review code and provide feedback related to best practices and improving performance. 

• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required.

Who Are We Looking For Exactly? 

 

• A React Native developer with 1+yrs of experience with expertise on multiple phases of a project lifecycle from concept development to solutions design, implementation, optimization and support. 
• Good Experience with React JS, React Native, JavaScript including DOM Manipulation and JavaScript object model. 
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux. 
• Good understanding of Object-oriented programming. 

• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code. 
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts. 
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio or IntelliJ. 
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage. 
• Experience with Native Mobile app releases on App store and google play store. (A plus) 

• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS is also a plus. 
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner. 
• Should have a Master’s Degree /Bachelors (BS) in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Management or related degrees and throughout education in English medium.

About the role:
Roles & Responsibilities
● Understand functional requirement, design and code
● Preparing high level design(HLD) and low level design(LLD) document
● Adhering to best practices, maintain quality of code and perform unit testing
● Coordinate with other stakeholders to deliver functionality
● Code checkin and code review for peers
● Performance monitoring of application using Firebase and other APM tools, performance tuning
using IDE tools
● Using CI/CD tools to push build to Testflight or other test environments
● Troubleshoot high priority issues
● Mentor junior resources
● Participate in sprint planning and scrum standup calls. 

Ideal Candidate profile:
● Understanding of design patterns and MVVM, MVP architectures
● Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
● Proficient with Swift and Swift UI
● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back - end services
● Strong knowledge of iOS to build apps for different form factors
● Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Swift code
● Help maintain code quality and performance monitoring
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, CI/CD tools
● Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
● Familiarity with apple push notifications
● Should be able to work in agile environment
