Location: Remote/Work from Home

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build robust and secure RESTful APIs using Express.js and Node.js to serve data to the front-end.
• Design and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in both front-end and back-end code.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.

Qualifications:

• Computer Science Graduate.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience on the implementation of large-scale web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Solid understanding of front-end development principles and best practices.
• Experience with front-end tooling like Vite.js.
• Experience with Next.js for building performant React applications.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha.

Role Summary

We’re seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a startup environment. You will lead end-to-end development of key features, own architectural decisions, and ensure the smooth delivery of our product.

Mandatory Skill Sets/Expertise

• 5-6 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on the MERN / PERN stack (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) and AWS.

• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and experience with serverless solutions (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway).

• Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Github actions, or similar tools.

• Proven experience leading and guiding a development team, with strong mentoring skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables without oversight, while thriving in a startup mentality.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL solutions along with ORM tools like Sequalize & Mongoose ORM

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, driving best practices in coding and architecture.

• Take full ownership of modules, from design through deployment, and launch web apps singlehandedly if needed.

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the PERN / MERN stack (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

• Prepare high-level technical designs and architectural decisions, especially on AWS serverless architecture and microservices.

• Implement secure, reliable, and scalable solutions using AWS services • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and automated deployments.

• Optimize application performance through techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, to define features and user experience improvements.

Job Description:-

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, facilitating faster and more reliable releases.

Configuration Management: Manage and automate server configurations using tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, ensuring consistency and compliance across environments.

Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack) to proactively identify and troubleshoot issues within the AWS infrastructure.

The Successful Applicant

AWS Proficiency: Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in writing and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

CI/CD Tools: Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or AWS CodePipeline. Ability to configure and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines.

Pure Node.js Experience- At 1 Years
● Required Skills:- A person who is superb in node.js first and foremost. Needs to understand
the intricacies of promises and the asynchronous programming paradigm.
● A close second is experience in Graphql. Understanding Queries, Mutations and Apollo.
● Tertiary is DynamoDb and Mysql Being able to pick up a non-standard ORM and being able to
program against it.
● Developers must have experience with AWS, and preferably AppSync, Serverless Framework,
