Full Stack Engineering Leader

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our in-office engineering team in Hyderabad. You will build and maintain scalable, secure, multilingual web and mobile-facing products end to end — from intuitive front-end interfaces to robust back-end services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end (React.js) and back-end (Node.js/Express.js) components.
• Build and integrate secure REST APIs and manage databases (MongoDB / SQL).
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to ship features on schedule.
• Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs.
• Solid experience with databases (MongoDB and/or SQL) and version control (Git).
• Good understanding of responsive design, security best practices, and cloud deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend applications.

• Experience with design patterns and best practices for Java development. 
• Proficient in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit). 
• Experience with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
• Experience with one of these databases – Postgres, MongoDb, Cassandra 
• Knowledge on Retail or OMS is a plus. 
• Experienced in containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps mindset 
• Ability to reverse engineer existing/legacy and document findings on confluence. 
• Create automated tests for unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing, to meet established expectations and acceptance criteria. 
• Document APIs using Lowe’s established tooling. 

Past experience in working with any product start-up is a plus.

● Proficiency in fundamental front end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and others.

● Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it such as Express (recommended).

● Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

● Understanding of REST Services.

● Experience with Redis.

● Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

● Proficient understanding of serverless programming.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web development experience using Node.js or similar web technologies

• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React.js with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages

• Possess strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.

• Proficient with database design, optimization and tuning in MySQL or MongoDB

• Experience in design patterns, unit testing, automation techniques (Selenium WebDriver)

• Exposure to Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, SQS, Redshift, etc.)

• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes

• Exposure to collaborating tools like GitHub, JIRA, Confluence

• Experience in frameworks such as Symfony 2, Express.js, or proven ability to learn on the job

• Experience in Microservices and REST architecture

• Exposure to Scrum methodology and XP technical practices such as unit testing, pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration or continuous delivery

Design

·       Design a Service Platform that will serve a large scale of users 

·       Prepare design based on requirements and direction provided by product manager

·       Research and consult with SMEs to ensure the design is most suitable to meet the requirements

·       Present and explain design decisions and gain consensus within in the team

·       Propose UI/UX design decisions that align with requirements and expectations

·       Create any support documentation required for future design updates and validation

Develop

·       Document development plan to implement requirements (Senior)

·       Manage development project tasks and schedule (Senior)

·       Establish development lifecycle model to suit the needs of the project (Senior)

·       Build & configure the base platform based on Open Source solution

·       Manage sprint cycle releases and track development progress 

Quality
