Job Description

As part of our role at a leading global insurance company, we are responsible for developing and managing an application to onboard and oversee the company's sales partners, including agents and brokers. This application provides users with a tailored, independent solution, including a required multi-dimensional validity date concept for administering all organizational and contractual sales force data to deliver structured information to many data consumers.

To reinforce our dynamic development team, we are seeking a skilled Full-stack Developer. In this role, you will collaborate with international cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the application, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.

Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.

Participate in system and application architecture discussions.

Create technical designs and specifications for new features or enhancements.

Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality.

Debug and resolve technical issues and software defects.

Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

Identify and fix vulnerabilities to ensure application integrity.

Work with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.

Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and scaling.

Design and implement workflow automation using Camunda BPM, integrating it with backend services and ensuring efficient process execution.

Optimize and maintain business process models and workflow orchestration using Camunda.

Troubleshoot and enhance Camunda BPMN workflows, DMN decision tables, and process automation configurations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a skilled Full-stack Developer. Experience in the insurance domain is appreciated.

Strong experience with Spring Boot 3, Java 17 or newer, and Maven.

Experience with PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Sonar, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Mockito, IntelliJ IDEA, and GitHub repository.

Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (v7 or v8), including BPMN workflows, DMN decision tables, and REST API integration.

Experience with Angular TS and/or AWS, Kafka is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a full-stack developer for our client SellerX.

The ideal candidate will efficiently and quickly write code in a timely and scalable way in order to improve the code-base of the company's products in meaningful ways. This candidate will be able to test the code and make adjustments where necessary.

Your background:  

• 3+ years of experience working with PHP (preferably with Symfony) 
• Understanding OOP principles & familiarity with best design practices 
• Experience with JavaScript, Angular 
• Technically proficient in SQL (preferably MySQL or MariaDB) 
• Experience with NoSQL database 
• Experience with Docker 

We would consider it a plus if:  

• You have some experience with Python or are willing to learn 
• You have basic knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ 
• You have some experience working with AWS: RDS, S3, EC2, and Lambda functions 
• Experience with search engines like Elastic Search or Solr

• Designing and Developing web applications using Laravel 7 / 8

Roles and Responsibilities

• Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle; determining design methodologies and toolsets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.
• Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
• Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
• Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching.
• SADs (Senior application Developer ) maintain the job duties of a supervisor as well as a lower-level application developer These duties can include regular consultations with the Team concerning software, creating new programs, and testing newly installed programs to verify functionality.
• The managerial side of being a leader can include writing reports on team progress and presenting those reports to upper executive committees, per Coding standards. SADs also make executive-level standards decisions for their department, ensure company policies are being followed and counsel employees as needed

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology or computer sciences. Combining full - time academics degree with certification in computer languages and software programs could be an added advantage.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience as a leader with hands-on experience in programming languages such as Javascript, HTML, C++, PHP, Angular, Ajax, Rest Api, Node.Js, JQuery, MySQL, API Oath Integration, Shopify, Open Source app development, Social media Developer tool.
