About the Role

We are building a strong remote bench of Full-Stack Developers for ongoing and upcoming projects with global SaaS, FinTech, and product-based startups across US, Canada, and Middle East.

Selected developers will work on end-to-end product development with flexibility, clear deliverables, and competitive monthly retainers.

Core Skills Required

(You should be confident in at least 1–2 complete stacks below)

Frontend Technologies

• React.js (Hooks, Context API) or Angular.js
• Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR) preferred for modern projects
• State management: Redux, Zustand, or Recoil
• Optional: Vue.js experience is a plus
• JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

Backend Technologies

• Node.js with Express.js or NestJS

Job Summary:

As a  Software Engineer II  at OpenGov, you'll build best-in-class SaaS solutions that enable efficiency, transparency, and accountability within government agencies. Requirements and Preferred Experience:

• BA/BS in a computer-science-related discipline or equivalent experience required
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing cloud native applications.
• Proficiency in Java or C++ or C# or equivalent program language is required.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS is required 
• Proficiency in data structures, database concepts, algorithms and observability is required
• Working knowledge of event-driven architecture and Kafka preferred
• Working knowledge of ElasticSearch/OpenSearch preferred
