About the Role:

We're looking for a full-stack engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team. You'll work on building and maintaining scalable server-side applications while occasionally contributing to frontend development.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Work with databases to ensure data integrity and optimize performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions

Required Skills

• Node.js: Solid experience building server-side applications
• TypeScript Strong typing practices and modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns
• PostgreSQL Database design, querying, and performance optimization
• NestJS Experience with this framework (or similar structured Node frameworks)
• GraphQL Familiarity with building or consuming GraphQL APIs
• Networking fundamentals: understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and how web protocols work

Nice to Have

• Docker Containerization and local development environments
• Terraform Infrastructure as code experience
• Cloud platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure

Job Requirements

Must have:

• Experience working on Node.js with Typescript and Express.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB would be preferred.

Nice to have:

• Experience in ReactJS and its main fundamentals like JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms.
• Knowledge of Unit testing frameworks

Experience: 5 - 6 years

• Strong knowledge of OOP, C#, LINQ, SQL Server.

• Must be strong in .net MVC.

You’ll be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our client.

• Experience in cross platform development for multiple variants of Unix, Linux including 32 and 64 bit
• Experience with NoSQL, SQL databases, statistics and algorithms
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Design, implement and test novel database architecture designs to accommodate the multimodal data types used in Client managed technology evaluations
• Administer and monitor database and address data security solutions as applicable
