Full Stack Developer

Founding Engineer:

As a Founding Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and launching our product to customers. Specifically,

• Since our team is lean and we plan to keep it that way - you’ll be one of the first five engineers in leading the zero-to-one journey of a product our customers are hungry for
• Lead technical design and implementation of the frontend and backend of the product with coaching and mentorship from world-class technical architects
• Have knowledge of (or learn) how to work with Shopify’s CLI
• Iterate quickly to create delightful user experiences, working closely with customers/ design partners
• Help us hire a world-class engineering team in the months ahead
• Our team is currently fully remote (with offices to be opened in Bangalore and Mumbai over next few months) and cross-border across San Francisco, Boston, and India - help us cultivate a remote-first, inclusive, diverse, and friendly culture
• Work directly with the founders with an ownership mindset

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience working with backend tech stacks (e.g. Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel)
• Experience with service service-oriented architecture, writing REST APIs, unit testing, and architectural design
• Understanding of modern web stacks and architecture (HTTP, REST, GraphQL, WebSockets)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and other technologies (e.g. Mysql, Redis, Kafka)
• Prior experience working with frontend tech stacks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Prior experience working with frontend UI frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS)

·        Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer with expertise in Angular, React, and Golang.

·        Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Cassandra.

·        Proficiency in front-end development using Angular and React frameworks.

·        Solid understanding of server-side development using Golang and building RESTful APIs.

·        Experience with database design, optimization, and query optimization techniques.

·        Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking tools, and agile methodologies.

·        Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

As a Software Architect a Typical Day Might Include the Following:

• Work with product/tech team to discuss/define the architecture or solution of a given problem statement
• Set the end-to-end technical direction for the team, including platform, technology, tools, and infrastructure
• Communicate architecture in an effective and professional manner
• Drive technical decisions, solve tough problems, and coordinate multiple project execution
• Ensure that the inContact Development coding quality standards and review processes are followed to ensure proper security and high availability standards

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Experience with developing large enterprise-scale application in AWS

Responsibilities

Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

Familiarity with common stacks

Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

As a Software Engineer, you will build and scale Clockwork, creating an engaging experience for our users. As one of the first few engineers, you will work on 0 to 1 type projects, partnering closely with our product, design and business teams to build the future of Clockwork.

As a core member of the Software Development team, you will be responsible for the architecture, coding, development, testing and release of customer applications hosted both on-premise and on-cloud. Candidates with proven experience in both Frontend and Backend Development (predominantly Backend Development) with prior experience in deploying applications on AWS/Azure cloud will be preferred.

You will be leading a small team of developers (not more than 3 at a time) on a given project, and be a client-facing SPOC to work with the client and meet stringent deadlines. You will be responsible for Coding and Development with a code coverage of minimum 90%. You will adhere to coding and security standards and ensure that your delivery is secure and free from any critical, high and medium-rated vulnerabilities.
