Frontend / UI Developer

Job overview:

We are seeking an experienced React.js Developer who is passionate about crafting high-quality, scalable, and performant front-end applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in modern JavaScript frameworks, UI development, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Build scalable and reusable UI components with React Hooks, Redux/Context API, and component-driven architecture.
• Optimize app performance to ensure fast load times, smooth interactions, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, modular, well-documented code following industry best practices and Git-based workflows.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing features based on user feedback, analytics, and technical requirements.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development to continuously improve the codebase and architecture.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in React.js and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Responsive Design, and UI frameworks (Tailwind/Bootstrap).
• Experience with state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
• Good understanding of version control using Git.
• Ability to write efficient, scalable, and re-usable components following best practices.

What you'll do:

· Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Angular, ionic, Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, Apache Cordova, RESTful APIs and more

· Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible

· Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible

· Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Automate feature testing and contribute UI testing framework

· Become a subject matter expert for our mobile applications

· Deliver amazing solutions to production that knock everyone’s socks off

· Mentor junior developers on the team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficient with Apache Cordova framework

· Built or maintained custom Cordova plugin

· Demonstrable knowledge of native coding background in iOS

· Understanding of Apple certificate and profile management

· Experience developing and deploying applications within Kubernetes based containers

· Experience in Agile and SCRUM development techniques

• Candidate should have strong knowledge of Javascript and HTML5 Canvas
• Should have knowledge of HTML5 Canvas Drawing Pad
• Experience in HTML5 Canvas is a must
• Thorough semantics-level understanding of HTML5 Canvas
• Good understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
• Understanding and deployment of Responsive Web Design
• Understanding of how web design/dev is related to web Performance

11. As a React.js Developer, you will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive. 

1. Node.js & ReactJS/Next.js ( MEAN/MERN Stack)
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
3. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
4. Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
5. Familiarity with more current specifications of EcmaScript
6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs
7. Great CSS skills. Familiarity with React Styled Components, SCSS, LESS, etc.
8. Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
9. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
10. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
11. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
12. A knack for benchmarking and optimisation.
13. Familiarity with code versioning tools
14. Familiarity with Test Driven Development and tools like JEST & React Testing Library is a plus.
15. Familiarity with Firebase and other backend as a services is a plus.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.

• Build, extend, and maintain reusable UI components that will be used across many applications.
• Develop best practices and guidelines for contributing UI and reusable components to a central component library.
• Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications.
• Work closely with our UX design team to ensure usable designs with a consistent look and feel.
• Maintain high-quality code and ensure best practices for UI development.
• Ensure designs follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Work in a fast-paced agile environment partnering with software engineering teams.
