Job Description

We are looking for a Front End developer who is excellent with JavaScript (React.js + Redux). Some proficiency with Node.js preferred as you’ll be hooking up your front-ends to APIs and occasionally writing your own.

Your primary focus will be to develop the UI/UX for highly interactive / social / multiplayer learning platform, across the Student Product, Parent Product, Teacher Product, Virtual Classroom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality React code
• Styling re-usable components with pixel perfection and mobile responsiveness
• Structuring state and information flow across your front-end app using Redux
• Optimizing your code for SEO and maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Skills / Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Redux
• Bonus: past experience with Socket.io and WebRTC
• Writing and consuming REST APIs with Node.js 
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

- B.E/B.Tech or any relevant Masters degree from reputed college
- 2-5 experience of working with SPA
- Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript (ES5, ES6), various JavaScript libraries and frameworks (ReactJS), HTML and CSS
- Experience with Asynchronous and Futures (Promises) Design Patterns
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience in developing Large-scale, Single-Page Applications (SPAs) and Unit Testing
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues

Good to have: Optional
- Working with Secure APIs using JWT/OAUTH

Responsibilities:

• Build React Native apps from scratch that'll be used globally.
• Architect App infrastructure systems like caching, state manager, common validation framework, etc.
• Launch the apps in different app stores like Apple, Google, etc.
• Create custom reusable Component Library
• Create data visualizations like charts, tables, dashboards, etc.
• Write well tested, beautiful, performant and bug free code.
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment and work with challenging timelines.
• Establish and advocate front-end coding guidelines.
• Mentor team members and help resolve any critical blockers.

Requirements:

• A self-driven, hard-working Frontend engineer with an eye for detail.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• Minimum 4 years of overall experience with expertise in working in React Native, Redux and TypeScript
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Styling
• Experience in writing native code for Android and iOS
• Strong debugging skills for Android and iOS.
• Experience in launching apps in various App Stores.
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

Why are we here?

 

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions. You will be boarded into the team that manages higher secondary school projects on the Salesforce stack. You will be given an opportunity to learn the entire ecosystem of salesforce.

 

Mandatory skills to have/ Responsibilities:

 

● Overall 4+ years of experience and a strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds. 

● Good understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. 

● Strong hands-on experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS or Angular 2+ etc.

● Understanding of Software Design Patterns. 

● Good understanding of AJAX, REST APIs, Remote functions, and prior development experience in building the same. 

● Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues. 

● Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and GulpJs. 

● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

 

Good to have:

● Hands-on experience in Python

Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirement and purpose of implementation.
• Implement modules with individual products and come up with impact and own ideas and solutions.
• Troubleshooting issues across environments.
• Responsible for monitoring, highlighting and troubleshooting issues across environments.
• Responsible for design and develop the components as per the requirement.
• Technical documentation, design and development using tools and technologies like HTML5, JAVA and Angular JS etc.
• Complete the build of code on time and as per application coding standards, and perform unit testing.

 

Requirements:

• Strong Expertise and experience in HTML5, charting libraries, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular(2+) or ReactJS

• Strong hands-on experience in Web services (REST)
• Proficient knowledge in D3.JS
• Good understanding of user interactions
• At least involved in one live project on D3.JS
• Handson on Visualisations

• Knowledge in Nodejs
• Knowledge in React JS / Angular 2+
• Good understanding of cloud computing platforms and its services
• Experience in UI, UX, data visualisations, usability, design aspects and user stories
