Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient web applications using React.js / Next.js.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow developers to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers to enhance team productivity and code quality.
• Optimize application performance and ensure efficient resource utilization by conducting performance testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to JS and JS frameworks like React.js / Next.js, and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a front-end developer
• Strong expertise in React.js / Next.js with a solid understanding of their core principles and ecosystem.
• Proficient in front-end development technologies such as HTML5/CSS, JavaScript and Typescript.
• Deep understanding of the DOM, Browser Events, JavaScript APIs, Canvas rendering etc.
• Proficiency in creating mobile websites and putting responsive design strategies into practice
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary web development tools such as Babel, PostCSS, and Webpack
• Regard for optimizations that focus on delivering content to the user as quickly as possible.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• In-depth SEO optimization knowledge is seen as a plus.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and testable code, with a strong emphasis on software quality and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.

Responsibilities Include:

• Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of custom analytics products and wide web applications
• Will work with the R&D and Analytics team to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
• Take an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience developing new user-facing features
• Strong working knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular 2+ versions)

• Build world class Webapps for the Ola Electric ecosystem.
• Work on a full product development lifecycle from requirement gathering, product design, development, to roll out and maintenance
• Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders including product and design
• Own the delivery of multiple features of the product end to end 
• Advocate best development practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automation (testing and infrastructure) and code modularity, extensibility, quality
• Experience in building Websites from Scratch is a big plus

Key Skills Required: 

• Min 3+ Years in Web Application Development
• Write clean, solid and testable code while keeping the user experience fast and reliable
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery, Reach, Redux 
• Proficient in Web Interface designing
• Experience in developing reusable UI components
• Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services 
• Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce websites.

• Developer/Senior Developer Role in Javascript/React
• Design and Develop Libraries for React
• Strong analytical skills - ability to turn business requirements into technical concepts and code
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in React (at least 3 projects) and familiar with modern React (Hooks, Context API)
  • At least one PWA project
  • Deep knowledge of Typescript (at least 2 years)
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skill
  • Used to writing automated tests with tools like Jest & Cypress
  • Working with a ticket tool like Jira
  • Experience with SCRUM/Agile Development
  • Experiences with NodeJS is a plus
  • Experiences with Monorepositorys and Nx is a plus
