Frontend Developer React Native Engineer

Core Responsibilities

Front-end Development:

o Develop web applications using React, flask. o Implement responsive design to ensure user-friendly interfaces.

o Utilize mapping libraries (e.g., Leaflet, Mapbox) to display geospatial data.

Back-end Integration:

o Work with APIs and manage data flow for project analytics and management.

o Enhance features for robust data handling and real-time project analysis.

Cloud Deployment:

o Deploy and manage web applications on AWS and similar platforms. o Optimize for performance, scalability, and storage efficiency.

GIS and Mapping Tools:

o Develop tools using GIS data like KML and Shapefiles. 

• · 3+ years of software engineering experience primarily leveraging ReactJS. · Strong engineering and technical background with demonstrable enterprise development experience using ReactJS and RESTful APIs. · Deep understanding of JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 and CSS. · Experience using Redux, Web Workers and PWAs. · Experience with continuous integration and build (CI/CD) process & tools. · Proven ability to quickly understand functional requirements and technical concepts. · Experience with TDD and familiarity with testing frameworks, ideally Cypress, Selenium and PACT. · Exposure to mobile development via React Native an advantage. 💥 What will you do?

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will

• Own our frontend engineering applications for two products each of which run as independent applications which query our backend systems via REST APIs

• Act as a leader and coach within the front-end engineering team, collaborating with and mentoring senior engineers.

• Collaborate on a daily basis with a small, nimble team of product managers, engineers, and UX designers to understand business requirements and user experience goals and pain points.
• Write and review modular, reusable components and features (React.js / Vue.js) and integrate backend APIs to create a seamless front-end user experience
• Integrate third-party plugins to enhance customer experience. These include 3rd party plugins which provide customer support and analytics plugins that help improve the user experience we provide to customers.
• Actively participate in code reviews
• Work with our quality assurance team to improve coverage on our automated testing suites

• We will be flexible for the rest of the pandemic and work remotely; however, we are not a remote-first company, and the work location would be Bangalore when things settle.
