Frontend Developer

Job Description : 

• Work with your team to design and build software applications to function across web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Work closely with UX designs and work on integrating the wireframes into UI
• Validate the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly.
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers.
• Write functional requirement documents and guides.
• Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Architect and build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly mobile apps using native frameworks
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across different iOS devices.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and other backend services.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in UI development.
• Mentor and guide junior team members. Mandatory Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years working as a professional UI developer
• Proficient knowledge of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript .
• Expertise in front-end in any of the front-end frameworks like React.js
• Strong understanding of front-end coding and development technologies.
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest or WTR
• Experience in E2E testing frameworks like Playwright or Puppeteer
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
• Experience with performance monitoring and Optimization tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What You'll Do:

• You will collaborate with a UX/UI designer and other frontend and middle-tier engineers to design, prototype, and build complex cloud-based web applications.
• You will assist other developers with the integration of UI components with backend logic, interface implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Supporting the existing UI is a must, however, there will be plenty of opportunities to create solutions for advanced functionality while making improvements to existing areas of the application, as well as with new features.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as a front-end developer
• Experienced in developing applications using JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Redux Saga, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3/CSS4 and other UI technologies.
• Understanding and experience with ES6 concepts, asynchronous processing, partial page refresh, DOM traversal and manipulation.
• Experience with REST API construction, documentation, and architecture, including API description languages like Swagger.
• Comfortable writing Unit Test Cases (Enzyme/ Jest)
• Familiar with cloud services: AWS, Dev-ops such as Git, Jira, Confluence
• Good to have experience/knowledge of

Add-Ons/Interview Process

• You should be comfortable working in a Start-up for in-house product development.
• Will not be engaged with any Client, but with the internal team (in India & the US).
• Will be provided a hands-on exercise to complete and submit as a part of interview.

What you need to have:

Experience: 2 to 7 years

Build large scale web applications with Single Page Applications (SPA) architecture.

Experience to develop MV(C) based front end frameworks.

Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, preferably React.JS.

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX and Redux.

Proficient with Chrome Developer Tools.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Restful API services.

Experience in using performance, analytics and UX tools.

Experience with pull request process and contributing to OSS on github.com.

Experience with unit testing frameworks Mocha and Chai.

Experience with Jenkins.
