Frontend Developer

We are building new-age billing and pricing infrastructure for SaaS companies. As SaaS pricing evolves from vanilla subscription-based models to more granular usage-based models, billing and pricing infrastructure needs to be completely reimagined.

We're building our founding team and are looking for a front-end developer, who can take ownership of the user-facing side of our product. Your primary roles and responsibilities will evolve as the team grows.

Responsibilities:

• Taking full ownership of building a pixel-perfect frontend product
• Understanding code quality, maintainability, modularity, and scalability
• Break down large tasks into independent smaller chunks
• Implementing good testing practices to ensure rapid iteration
• Communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand their points of view and to discuss your own ideas

Requirements:

• A basic understanding of backend development is a plus
• 1-3 years of experience
• Capable of building the frontend part of web applications with minimal guidance
• Proficiency in Javascript, Reactjs, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of other Javascript frameworks is a plus. Tailwind CSS/Tailwind UI experience is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable with frontend build systems
• Good understanding of frontend optimization
• Good at making a designer's design come to pixel-perfect reality
• Good at making decent interfaces from basic wireframes (without a designer's help) when needed
• Understanding of SSR is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with billing systems, CPQ, and accounting systems is a plus

Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain front-end dependencies/codebase.

● Building responsive and elegant mobile & desktop web applications

Skills:

● Hands on experience in JavaScript / TypeScript

● Experience in modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML5, CSS3.

● Experience in any of the frameworks: ReactJs/ Angular / VueJs.

● Experience in translating design mockups and prototypes into frontend applications.

● Experience in effective componentization/abstraction during design translation.

● Experience in effective state management strategies like redux and hooks to scale application better.

● Understands how to optimize the delivery of code and assets (e.g., images, fonts) to a browser or device (e.g.,lazy loading assets, using CDNs caching, compression, etc)

● Understands how to be efficient with resource usage (e.g., application impact on memory and CPU, caches as needed, respectful of customer's device limits etc).

● Good understanding and hands on with PWA (AMP is good to have).

● Good knowledge of version control systems.

● Good understanding of any of the following frontend frameworks, bootstrap, material-UI, semantic-UI.

● Ability to provide deliverables within specified deadlines with a quality bar.

As a Front-end developer, you will work with motivated individuals who are passionate-beyond-measure to offer the Ultimate Shopping experience to consumers. Requirements:

• Expert in making scalable and modular Front End code
• In depth knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Good experience in making Progressive Web Apps
• Knowledge of cross browsers & devices development issues and inconsistencies
• Good knowledge and experience in ReactJS and Server Side Rendering
• Experience in setting up & running task runners like Gulp & Webpack
• Experience in CSS pre and post processors like SASS/Stylus & PostCSS (we use SASS combined with PostCSS) & BEM style coding
• Experience in creating transitions/animations at 60fps especially on mobiles

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• A 3-4 years of experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
• In-depth experience in working with Reactjs and Go.
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with blockchain technology preferable.
