We are looking for a skilled and experienced front-end developer to join our product team. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimised both in technology and in delivering the best user experience. What You'll do-

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs-Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating awesome interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules, and ensuring the maintainability of the code.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Technical Requirements-

• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or a frontend engineer
• Be familiar with Responsive Web Design, common Web UX patterns and anti-patterns
• Be able to tell good design from bad design
• Be able to write clean, maintainable code which others can work on
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and Material UI
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
• You have mastery in DOM manipulation (including jQuery) and understand components, CTAs
• Know browser behaviour, performance, compatibility and cross-browser issues
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
• You take pride in working on advanced CSS, animations and responsiveness
• You seem to have good architectural & design skills
• Ability to own, end to end responsibility - right from the requirement to release
• Ability to produce bug-free and production-grade code
• Be great at debugging, including identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome Dev Tools, React Dev Tools, etc.
• The skills that we consider - CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Node.js

• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.

• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good project management skills.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience, 1+ years of experience as a lead
• Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript

• Get hands on experience with emerging trends and technologies in the field of cloud development, including open source products and contribute to the on-going development of GMetri’s suite of products
• Design, develop, test and deploy features for our VR platform
• Research and find opportunities to utilize web development best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring
• Driving the entire GMetri dashboard independently resolving its features/issues and deploying to production bug-free
• Developing and Designing GMetri Analytics and monitoring dashboards
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js

• Min 2+ years experience in software development
• Should be a quick learner, agile with technology, a hacker at heart
• Strong proficiency in ReactJS, Redux
• Well versed with the Unix environment, es6/es7 concepts
