European tech company (Spain) in telecom/IT/cybersecurity. We’re hiring a Part-time UI/UX Designer (20h/week) to improve our Odoo eCommerce and marketing sites.

Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity UIs in Figma (Auto-layout, components, variants).
• Build a Design System and responsive layouts optimized for Core Web Vitals and accessibility (WCAG).
• Prepare developer handoff (specs/assets) and iterate with engineers.
• Run quick UX validations: usability checks, analytics-informed tweaks, A/B ideas.
• Design PDP, Cart and Checkout flows in Figma **specifically for Odoo Website/eCommerce**, considering native snippets and QWeb/OWL constraints.

Requirements

• 2–5 yrs in web/eCommerce UX/UI with a strong portfolio (Behance/Dribbble/URL).
• Expert in Figma; solid responsive and design system skills.
• Good English; ≥ 3h CET overlap; can start within 15–30 days.
• Bonus: HTML/CSS basics, accessibility, SEO basics, Odoo Website knowledge.
• Experience in web/eCommerce; Odoo Website familiarity is a plus (not mandatory).
• Proven experience delivering Odoo Website/eCommerce UI (website, website_sale, checkout) or 2+ projects where your Figma handoff was implemented in Odoo QWeb/OWL.
• Comfort mapping Figma components to Odoo snippets/QWeb and collaborating with developers to minimize custom code.

Compensation

• ₹2.5–5 LPA (part-time, 20h/week, contract/retainer).

• Long-term engagement; work in our repos/process; clear roadmap.

Process

1. Portfolio review + 30’ call. 2) Paid task (6–8h): Pf no prior Odoo examples, you’ll complete a paid 4–6h Odoo-specific mini task (PDP + Checkout components in Figma with clear QWeb mapping). 3) Offer.

• Deep understanding of JS basics and advanced features (ES6) (5+ years)
• Deep understanding of basic and advanced HTML5 / CSS3 features (5+ years)
• Hands on experience developing scalable applications using React JS (preferably using functional components) (2+ years)
• Proficiency in using hooks based approach in react development
• Hands on experience developing UI components using Material UI for React JS (2+ years)
• Experience with any of the state management libraries for React JS – Redux, Context API, Mobx etc
• Experience with unit testing using Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library etc
• Experience with responsive design, progressive web apps and accessibility.
• Knowledge about platform tools such as NPM, Git command line tool and AWS.
