Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled React Native Developer with a strong background in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience and a proven track record of developing robust, scalable mobile applications using React Native. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and significantly contribute to the growth and success of our startup.

Key Responsibilities

●     Develop High-Quality Mobile Applications: Create user-friendly mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

●     Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and deliver new features.

●     Maintain Clean and Efficient Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.

●     Optimize Application Performance: Enhance application performance for speed and scalability.

●     Participate in Code Reviews: Engage in code reviews, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team output and code quality.

●     Troubleshoot and Debug: Identify and resolve application issues to ensure smooth functionality.

●     Stay Updated with Trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in mobile development to incorporate best practices.

Requirements

●     MERN Stack Proficiency: Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

●     RESTful APIs and Web Services: Solid understanding and experience in integrating RESTful APIs and web services.

●     Version Control Systems: Proficient with Git for version control.

●     Mobile UI/UX Design Principles: Knowledge of best practices in mobile UI/UX design.

●     Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

●     Team and Independent Work: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

●     Communication and Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice to Have

●     GraphQL: Familiarity with GraphQL for efficient data fetching.

●     Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Firebase.

Required a full stack Senior SDE with focus on Backend microservices/ modular monolith with 3-4+ years of experience on the following:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry technical skills
• Mandatory In-depth knowledge and strong experience in Python programming language.
• Expertise and significant work experience in Python with Fastapi and Async frameworks. 
• Prior experience building Microservice and/or modular monolith.
• Should be an expert Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
• Has knowledge and experience with SQLAlchemy/ORM, Celery, Flower, etc.
• Has knowledge and experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Experience in Postgres/ Cockroachdb.
• Experience in MongoDB/DynamoDB and/or Cassandra are added advantages.
• Strong experience in either AWS services (e.g, EC2, ECS, Lambda, StepFunction, S3, SQS, Cognito). and/or equivalent Azure services preferred.
• Experience working with Docker required.
• Experience in socket.io added advantage
• Experience with CI/CD e.g. git actions preferred. 
• Experience in version control tools Git etc.

This is one of the early positions for scaling up the Technology team. So culture-fit is really important.

• The role will require serious commitment, and someone with a similar mindset with the team would be a good fit. It's going to be a tremendous growth opportunity. There will be challenging tasks. A lot of these tasks would involve working closely with our AI & Data Science Team.
• We are looking for someone who has considerable expertise and experience on a low latency highly scaled backend / fullstack engineering stack. The role is ideal for someone who's willing to take such challenges.
• Coding Expectation – 70-80% of time.
• Has worked with enterprise solution company / client or, worked with growth/scaled startup earlier.
• Skills to work effectively in a distributed and remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial

We are looking for a full stack Java Developer with an experience of 1+ years. The individual should have good technical knowledge of Core Java, Sql, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Apache Spark. Exposure to sql databases like Oracle, Mysql, Microsoft Sql is a must. Any experience / knowledge / certification on Cloud technology preferrably Microsoft Azure is good to have. Exposures to non sql databases like Neo4j or Document database is again good to have.

The individual should have good knowledge of design patterns and also be able to implement them in desired conditions. Finally the individual should be smart and look to provide solutions for problems.

Full Stack Developer

Skills:

• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with AngularJS and Angular Frameworks

• Experience with Java, JSON, Spring Boot and Hibernate 

• Experience with MYSQL databases

• Familiarity with Linux environments

• Experience with GIT 

• Hands on experience with AWS S3 is preferred

• Experience with web servers & application servers such as Apache and Nginx is good to have

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop client-side and server-side architecture

• Develop and manage well-functioning database

• Implementation of approved user interface

• Design and construction of REST APIs

• Server management and deployment for the relevant environment

Level 3 Contractor-to-Fulltime-Programmer Role:

Must have 1-2 years (ideally 12 to 30 months) of post-collegiate professional programming experience at a top SaaS company in React, Typescript, Javascript working within Visual Studio Code and Yarn, leveraging superior techniques with Routing, Components, State, and Props to deliver elegant consumer applications based on dynamic data.

Ability to translate user story completely into exceptional functionality that consistently meets acceptance criteria and delights users.  Ability to convert complex workflows into elegant experiences highly prized.

Experience with Firebase, Firestore, MongoDB, Heroku and other Cloud-based technologies to deliver scalable, performant data-driven applications, with deployments on Kubernetes.  Ideally experienced working with colleagues over Discord.

Ability to exhibit judgment to independently author test suite and testing scripts to evaluate code additions, ensuring no regressions in functionality or user experience.

Proficiency in translating complex mathematical concepts into effective data structures and programming practices.  Personal pleasure in solving mathematical puzzles elegantly is a huge plus.

Bonus for those possessing keen interest in better investing, wealth creation, and FinTech/WealthTech experience.

Collaborate effectively through coding tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Slack.

Anticipated first year will be entirely working from home given COVID as Level 3 Contractor, and upon completion of first anniversary will be eligible for sign-on bonus as full time employee. Required to have own effective laptop/development set up and sufficient bandwidth to be exceedingly productive.
