Expert Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead the app team to develop apps using Flutter for both Android & iOS platforms.
• Implement best practices for app development, usage tracking, and issue fixes.
• Do regular code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Be an individual contributor to write quality code that is simple, reliable, and scalable.
• Implement test-driven development.
• Ensure the best performance and user experience of the application.
• Work with the team to manage, optimize, and customize multiple applications.
• Evaluate and implement out-of-the-box ideas for application development.

Required Skills

• Must have 8+ years of experience in native mobile development (Android / iOS).
• Must have 2+ years of experience in Flutter with Dart.
• Must have worked and successfully deployed apps on play-store/app-store using Flutter.
• Experience with any of the state management solutions like Bloc, Provider, Mobx, etc.
• Extreme attention to detail and the ability to match the design as closely as possible.

• Proven software development experience
• Proven working experience in Android
• Strong Java OOPs concepts and design patterns understanding 
• Hands-on experience on Kotlin.
• Good understanding of C and data structures, JavaScript
• Must have a good understanding of React Native or Cordova
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Have published at least one app in the Store.
• Experience in writing SDK frameworks
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of JNI, security algorithms
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces
• Knowledge of the open-source Android/iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Must be proficient in code versioning tools such as Git, SVN
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Solid understanding of the mobile development life cycle
• Good to have: Experience in working on cross-platform such as Flutter, Kony.

Technical design of complex mobile applications.

Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs.

Integrate third-party API's.

Release applications to iOS App Store and Google Play store.

Work with native modules and React Native bridges when required.

Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application.

Guiding team members for design and implementation tasks.

Co-ordinating end-to-end implementation.

Cooperating with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high quality solutions.

Guide mid-level and junior developers to follow best practices of using React Native.

Good understanding of React design patterns like HOC, render props and their applications.

Good understanding of Android & iOS working principles, release processes.

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Constantly research and adopt new technologies / best practices

Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions

SKILLS 

Must have: 

At least 5 - 7 years of mobile app development experience out of which 3+ years should be in React Native.

Proficiency in programming, data structures and algorithms.

Good understanding OOPS.

Must have at least 5 live applications on Play Store & App Store

Required Experience: 

B.Tech. / B.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent software engineering
