Compensation
- Total Salary: Rs. 10 - 22 lakhs per annum (based on prior experience and skills)
- Equity will be awarded after 12 months, based on the impact created. We prefer that you hold equity in the company.
Hiring Process
We have 4 steps in total. We will hire you if you pass each round. All the steps except the assignment will be virtual. We expect you to have a stable internet connection and turn on the video during the interview.
- Assignment - If you match the job requirements, we will send you an assignment to complete. This should not take you more than an hour to complete.
- Technical Interviews - There will be two sets of technical interviews. Questions in the first round will evaluate your skill set, and experience and will also include coding. The second round will be focused on system designing and project planning skills.
- CEO Interview - This will be technical as well as general questions.
- Culture Fit Round - A member from a non-technical team will conduct this round. This is also a good opportunity to clarify your doubts about us and our culture.
Responsibilities:
Within 1 month:
- Rapidly onboard and gain a comprehensive understanding of our existing product through training sessions.
- Set up the development environment and successfully deploy your initial code to production.
- Conduct introductory calls with all members of the AdNabu team to foster strong team relationships.
Within 3 months:
- Begin development on your first service with guidance and support from the team.
- Write your first set of unit test cases and establish functional testing workflows.
- Conduct code reviews for your peers.
- Actively participate in bug bashes to gain a thorough understanding of new features under development.
Within 6 months:
- Successfully launch two to three services to production.
- Make architectural and infrastructure decisions with a good impact on the overall product.
- Demonstrate proficiency in navigating our technology stack and infrastructure.
- Assume responsibility for planning, scoping, designing, and implementing new services.
Within 12 months:
- Launch a minimum of 3 to 4 core services to production and take ownership of scaling initiatives.
- Participate in interviewing and hiring processes, contributing to team growth and cultural development.
- Collaborate with leadership across engineering, product, marketing, and customer success to define priorities and establish delivery goals.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, complexity analysis, databases, networking, and distributed systems.
- 2-6 years of experience in product development, specializing in Python and MVC-based web frameworks.
- Proficient with Linux systems, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in designing scalable architectures for data-intensive applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of proposing ideas and solutions, actively seeking and incorporating feedback from the team.
- Previous experience in a product-based company or startup is a bonus.

Jr. Graphic Designer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Adaptation: Create and adapt designs for various digital formats using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc).

What You Will Do:
- Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, manage PI data, etc.).
- Devise and deploy the core automated processes that pre-process, clean, and present the required data for further processing.
- Develop and implement standard quality checks/algorithms and continuously improve upon these in collaboration with software and marketing teams.
- Develop and deploy metrics, dashboards, and visualizations characterizing both individual accounts and corporate enterprises in analytically insightful and visually compelling ways
- Apply engineering knowledge in developing data-driven algorithms for anomaly detection, failure prediction, and optimization.
- Work closely with our field sales, marketing, and industry technical consultants to configure data aggregation and visualization platforms and sustain those platforms over time.
- Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis – and then do the analysis.
- Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed. Work closely with the leadership team to create dashboards (such as Power BI) to drive agile decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. (Masters’ preferred) in Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology or any other technology-related field. An equivalent of this educational requirement in working experience is also acceptable.
- Candidates must have 2 – 5 years of experience working as a PI Developer and/or PI System Manager, in a fast-paced environment and complex business setting.
- Knowledge in: Excel macros & JSON for our Refined Knowledge & CrudeFlex applications, PI AF templates, and PI Cloud Connect, PI WebAPI, C# to send data from OSIsoft PI to Microsoft SQL, APIs and web programming, Python or R languages
- The candidate must have a demonstrated experience in building and maintaining reliable and scalable ETL on big data platforms as well as experience working with varied forms of data infrastructure inclusive of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL (on-prem & Azure), Oracle, & OSIsoft PI.
- The PI Developer must further have exceptional skills in SQL server reporting services, analysis services, Salesforce, integration services, Power BI, or any other data visualization tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in analytics in the oil & gas industry is a plus.
- Experience in the Microsoft Azure stack including data factories, data gateways, & Power BI. Experience in PI Integrator for Business Analytics is desirable. Experience in Hadoop, Spark and other analytic technologies is a plus. Digital-enabled technology experience and passion.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form. The PI Developer works closely with other functional teams in the CDS organization. Communication skills are also imperative for the PI Developer in his collaborative role where he will have to interact cross-functionally with non-technical departments. To enable effective collaborations, the PI Developer will have an exceptional ability to convey complex messages in a clear, simplified, and understandable manner. The candidate will also be required to draft reports and prepare presentations for Director – Commercial Digital Solutions (CDS) and Director – CDS Operation. These reports and presentations must be clear, concise, unambiguous, engaging, and convincing, which will demand exceptional communication skills on the PI Developer’s part.
- Microsoft Office/Software: A candidate for this position must be highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, which will all be necessary for the creation of both visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations, for leadership.
