Key Responsibilities

• Create and deploy OpenBMC firmware with an emphasis on ARM architecture among other things.
• Practical experience configuring BMC firmware, analyzing performance, and implementing different server manageability features for the company's server platforms.
• Creating error, statistics, and configuration solutions for CPU, GPU, DIMM, SSDs, NICs, IB, PSU, BMC, FPGA, CPLD, and other components to ensure that the company's server platforms are corporate-ready.
• Creating and designing BMC solutions for performance-optimized active monitoring by utilizing DMTF Standards, such as MCTP, Redfish, SPDM, and PLDM instructions.
• Writing and automating unit tests for every implemented module, maintaining thorough unit test case reports, and instrumenting code to guarantee optimal code coverage.
• Producing software quality reports using CPU load, code coverage, and static analysis.
• Examining hardware architecture and schematics and influencing hardware design in close collaboration with hardware teams.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• 5+ years of experience with a background in electronics engineering or computer science, or a Bachelor of Science degree (or higher).
• Proficient in developing firmware for X86 or ARM platforms, encompassing features such as BIOS communication, power and thermal management, firmware updates, device monitoring, and firmware security.
• Board bring-up proficiency with practical knowledge of device drivers, including SPI, PCIe, SMBus, Mail-box, and I2C/I3C, in addition to device trees for Linux kernel and U-Boot.
• Experience with OOB or in-band System Management, including exposure to IPMI, KCS, DMTF Standards (PLDM, MCTP, Redfish, etc.), PMBus, NVMe, etc.
• Knowledge of REST architecture, particularly with regard to JSON via HTTPs and OAuth.
• Proficient in programming and scripting for Linux user-space and system programs, utilizing C/C++, with extensive code review abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Linux building and deployment principles, different Linux distributions and packages, and upgrade procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, a strong sense of teamwork, a passion for producing high-quality work, and the dedication to complete tasks each day.

Skills Required:

- Good experience with programming language Python
- Strong experience in Docker.
- Good knowledge with any of the Cloud Platform like Azure.
- Must be comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Must have exposure into IOT domain and its protocols ((Zigbee & BLE ,LoRa,Modbus)
- Must be a good team player.

We are looking networking professionals with the following skill set,

Experience :6+ years of experience in the networking domain

Key skills:

• Must have 6+ years of experience in C/C++ programming language.
• Knowledge of Go programming language and Python programming language is a big plus.
• Strong background in L4-L7 Internet Protocols TCP, HTTP, HTTP2, GRPC and HTTPS/SSL/TLS.
• Background in Internet security related products such as Web Application Firewalls, API Security Gateways, Reverse Proxies and Forward Proxies

Requirements

Core skills: 

• Proficiency in programming, specifically Embedded C and C++
• Understanding of Hardware components (Sensors, MCUs, Actuators, Antenna)

Core Experience

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Systems
• Prior experience in building IOT Gateway
• Previous experience in designing FOTA
• Previous experience in the telematics/DMS would be advantageous
• Teamwork

• Strong C/C++ programming hands on experience
• Should have work experience on firmware development with strong Linux internals.
• Very good development, design and debugging experience on embedded firmware.

Position Overview:

This position is part of highly skilled fimrware team that do software board bring up of bare silicon for next generation products. In order to write system software for embedded electronic products, this position requires academic background in electronics engineering to understand hardware concepts such as digital logic, schematics, and microprocessor communications to develop effective embedded software.

Candidate should have complete knowledge of Software development cycle from architecture definition to the implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Must wear multiple hats from analyzing field and factory reported issues to software integration.
• Be a liason for troubleshooting and debugging complex systems and identifying the root cause.
• Develop detailed design documents and customer facing application notes for the system and IOT features for Mobile routers.
• Act as a product lead and be part of bigger team in software bring up.   
• Ability to work on Low level software such as bootloaders and understanding of low level functional blocks is a must.
• Work on Linux kernel and configuration.
• Write or port device drivers for Ethernet, USB, GPIO, LED, Bluetooth, Accelormeter, LCD and touch screen.
• Debug stability issues in data routing between WAN and LAN interfaces.
• Work with Software QA with test plan and execution.
• Work with Hardware team to identify and root cause stability problems.

Experience/Requirements:  

• Demonstrable knowledge of C, C++, Assembly programming skills
• Overall 10+ years of experience in embedded environment preferabily Linux.
• Board bring up proficiency with bootloaders and other low level software, must be very good with debugging techniques.
• Experience in TCP/IP networking is must for trouble shooting throughput and other traffic issues.
• Driver experience with I2C, SPI, UART, LCD, Ethernet, PCIe is a plus.
• Experience with low level debugging using JTAG.
• Experience with Makefiles, and build environments such as PTXDIST, Yocto and Buildroot.    
• Experience with version control such as git and svn.
• Good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously to meet deadlines, in a fast-changing environment.
