FirstFiling is a FinTech startup that is managed, operated, and driven by Chartered Accountants, Company secretaries, IT engineers, and Lawyers. We provide registration and financial compliance services to businesses and individuals across India.

Technology Profile-

The candidate must have experience in the following technologies (the more the better):

Frontend:

Core - JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.

Frameworks - ReactJS, Angular, Vue, etc.

Requirements:

• Ability to reuse components
• Proven experience in working with Git and Github 
• Creating and consuming a RESTful API
• You must have clear concepts of client-server architecture
• Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) design patterns
• Understanding of OOP concepts

Furthermore, the candidate must have built or published any web app or project through which they can demonstrate their experience and knowledge of the aforementioned technologies and requirements. 

Proficient in ReactJS and its core principles such as state management, hooks, and component lifecycle

Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies

Experience with Redux or other state management libraries

Knowledge of modern front-end builds tools such as Webpack and Babel

Understanding of REST APIs and experience integrating them with a ReactJS front-end

Familiarity with Git and version control practices

Responsibilities:

Developing user-facing features using ReactJS

Building reusable UI components and libraries for future use

Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems

Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality through testing and debugging

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to ReactJS.

This person MUST have: 

- BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent 

- Extreme CSS skills 

- Experience with ReactJS or NextJS is a MUST 

- Strong communication skills 

- A strong passion for writing simple, clean and efficient code. 

- Sound knowledge of clean code, no unused code, optimized code and more. - Always starting with a document and then implementing in a systematic and organized manner 

- Past experience as a frontend developer building modern JavaScript-based web applications - Excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, decision making and influencing skills. 

Experience: 

- Min 3 year experience 

- Not more than 15 year experience. 

- Startup experience is a must. 

Location 

- Remotely, anywhere in India

Timings: 

- 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone. Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Requirements and qualifications

• B.S Degree in Computer Science
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience with REACT
• Experience with HTML / CSS
• Experience with REST API's
• Git knowledge is a plus

• Great interpersonal and communication skills

• Minimum 4 yrs of experience in React JS.
• Experience building single page frontend applications and reusable components
• Solid experience with the core React ecosystem like React Router, Redux etc.
• Master of HTML, CSS, and other display-centric web technologies.
• Comfortable using git, docker.
• Proficient in Javascript (ES6 / ES7) programming with at least 4/5 years of
• experience.
• Good knowledge in writing frontend test cases.

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and Promises.

• Strong Problem Solving skills.

• Strong skills in Javascript and ability to write well documented, clean JavaScript Code.

• Very good understanding of ES6/ES7, JSX and Component Lifecycle.

• Deep practical knowledge of native Javascript, ES6, understanding the internals of frameworks like ReactJS, Angular or any other view libraries.

• Knowledge of modern authorisation techniques, such as JWT Tokens.

• Good understanding of common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn etc.

• Has strong communication skills and self-accountability.

• Develop reusable, maintainable cross-platform HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end web application components while adhering to web and team standards.
• Write unit tests to provide sufficient testing coverage for each developed component.
• Constantly review and improve frontend performance of the web application.
• Work with creative and business partners to understand, build and adjust web application functionality and visual presentation to support business goals.
• Work with server-side, infrastructure, and 3rd party technology partners to build, integrate and deploy web application functionality and visual presentation to support business goals.
• Work with project technical lead and/or FE architect to create technical designs and implementation plans.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail throughout the development process.
• Remain curious and current with new developments in the FE web development industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated 3-5 years of practical front-end web development experience.
• Expertise in writing and testing valid, web standards-based HTML, CSS, JS.
• Fluent in fundamentals of computer science such as:
• Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Coding Patterns.
• Deep understanding and experience with the following standards and technologies is essential:
• DOM, JSON, AJAX, HTML5 Video, WCAG 2.0 AA, Git.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Sample portfolio (code or public-facing web build) is a plus.
• Experience working for high-end brands or another environment with very high standards for the presentation layer is a plus; Ecommerce experience is a plus
