Ideal Candidate

6-8 Years of Experience

Passion for writing Vanilla JavaScript

Strong knowledge and experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Work Experience with TypeScript

Deep understanding of the DOM, Browser Events, JavaScript APIs, Canvas rendering, etc.

Deep understanding of how the browsers work.

Regard for optimizations that focus on delivering content to the user as quickly as possible.

Awesome Debugging Skills.

Passion to write automated tests to verify the working of libraries (You can’t possibly verify things on all devices and all browsers manually). We use Cypress for this.

Understanding the similarities and differences across browsers (young and old).

Experience in writing modular JavaScript code

Knowledge of high-level programming concepts like promises, and data-binding.

Passion to stay up to date with the constantly evolving world of front-end development.

YoHo Designs Pvt Ltd is a start-up interior design company located in Bengaluru. YoHo aims to provide affordable and durable solutions for every person's unique interior design preferences, reflecting creativity, and exceptional taste. Building a brand worth $100 million in only two years is our focus, and we have already succeeded in multiple businesses, such as hotel chains across Bengaluru, pubs, restaurants, automated laundry operations, and real estate. We aspire to grow to 100 employees with three experience centers in Bengaluru in the next year, with plans to expand into multiple new cities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Interior Design role located in Bengaluru. As a Senior Interior Designer at YoHo Designs Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the project's design phase, working with clients to understand their needs and create designs that meet them, and leading a team of junior designers. You will also be tasked with preparing and presenting design proposals, creating designs suitable for space planning, and conducting site visits to ensure proper alignment with design specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior design or architecture
• 2+ years of experience in an interior design role or similar position
• Expertise in utilizing design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Studio Max, as well as photography, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively, working autonomously as well as collaborating with others as a team
• Demonstrated ability to meet project deliverables on time and under budget while also maintaining client satisfaction

Job Brief

 We are currently hiring a Shopify Developer to join in our team who will be responsible for handling the development of Shopify-based websites including layout, user interface (UI), and front & back-end development. The person will also handle Shopify Apps and Integrations for the aforementioned functionalities. 

Main Responsibilities of a Shopify Developer

• Manage e-commerce digital shelves and day-to-day website updates; responsible for maintenance, and accuracy of all website assets (creative, product imagery, landing pages, etc.) via Shopify.
• Monitor site performance, speed, traffic, and conversion across all device type
• Improve the e-commerce experience and feature sets by evaluating new payment solutions, customer communication tools, mobile solutions, merchandising tools and other enhancements.
• Executes all product websites, categories, and pricing data.
• Implementing Shopify plug-ins, themes and Customizing templates
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code

Key Requirements

• Have a Strong understanding of front-end and back-end website development.
• Have Strong Knowledge of Shopify platform
• Hold a bachelor's degree with a preference for computer science or a related field
• Knowledge of cloud hosting (preferably Amazon LightSail)
• Have a strong portfolio of previous projects

As the Technical Content and copywriter at Alt Mobility, you would be a key player in shaping our brand's narrative by creating technical content that effectively communicates the value and benefits of our fleet maintenance solutions to a diverse audience. You will work closely with the founders, engineering, and marketing teams to develop compelling content that showcases our technical expertise and commitment to sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute technical and comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand identity and company objectives.
• Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including websites, product descriptions, brochures, emails, social media, and more.
• Create thought leadership articles, whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts to showcase our expertise and drive engagement within the B2B space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, technical details, and product information to inform your content creation.
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Optimise content for SEO to ensure maximum visibility and organic reach.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Stay current with industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging topics to inform your content strategy.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to generate innovative content ideas.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines, adapting your writing style to suit different channels and target audiences.

Qualifications:

• At least 3+ years of experience in the technical content and copywriting role in a 0-1 stage product start-up or from an automotive/EV background.
• Proven portfolio showcasing a range of written content, including web copy, articles, blog posts, and marketing materials.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field (Master's degree and Engineering is a plus).
• Strong storytelling and narrative-building skills, with the ability to create compelling and informative content.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for content optimization.
• Creative thinker with the ability to convey technical information in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools.
