DevOps (Internship)

We are seeking a Senior Android DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of specialized experience in mobile engineering pipelines. In this role, you will own, scale, and optimize our Android continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure. You will work closely with mobile development and QA teams to accelerate release cycles, ensure tight build security, and automate the journey from local code commit to the Google Play Store.

Key Responsibilities

1. ● Own CI/CD Infrastructure: Build, maintain, and scale robust mobile-specific CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
2. ● Automate Release Workflows: Design and implement end-to-end automation for Android builds (APK/AAB), test execution, and deployment using Fastlane and Gradle.
3. ● Manage Store Deployment: Oversee and automate app distribution via the Google Play Console, managing internal, closed testing, and production rollouts.
4. ● Secure Code Signing: Maintain the integrity of Android keystores, API keys, and certificates using secure secrets management tools.
5. ● Optimize Build Performance: Monitor and actively reduce build times, resolve dependency caching issues, and ensure infrastructure cost efficiency.
6. ● Quality & Observability Integration: Embed automated UI/unit testing (Espresso, Appium) and crash/performance tracking tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry) directly into the pipeline.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. ● Experience: 4+ years of dedicated experience in Mobile DevOps, Release Engineering, or Android Development with a heavy focus on infrastructure.
2. ● Build Systems: Deep, hands-on expertise with Gradle, ProGuard/R8, and the Android SDK.
3. ● Automation Tools: Advanced proficiency with Fastlane and scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy.
4. ● Version Control: Solid understanding of version control best practices and Git branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow, Trunk-based development).
5. ● Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve build/environment issues independently.
6. ● Cloud & Containers: Solid understanding of Docker, cloud runners (AWS/GCP), and infrastructure as code.

Forward-deployed engineers own the rest: architecture, judgment, and cutover, on dates we commit to in the contract.

Legacy infrastructure doesn't retire itself. Someone has to build the pipelines, rehearse the cutover, and carry the release into production  and that's this seat. As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you serve our application and infrastructure modernization work: you own build and release cycles for customer projects, land migrations from legacy hardware to AWS, and make deployments boring in the best sense of the word.

Agents change what this job looks like day to day. Aedeon and automation handle the repetitive discovery, mapping, and validation work that used to eat engineer hours. That leaves you the parts that actually need a senior engineer: infrastructure architecture, risk tradeoffs, release judgment, and the operational standards the whole team ships against. You'll work client-facing, embedded with customer teams, and the delivery commitment is one you carry personally.

What we are looking for?

• 4+ years with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including modules, remote state, state management, imports and multi account providers.
• Experience in designing highly available and secure AWS architecture within strong understanding of RTO/RPO and DR Strategies.
• 4+ years in configuration management and systems engineering, supporting large-scale Agile environments.
• 4+ years of Linux or Windows administration.
• 4+ years working with Git, with a solid grasp of branching and merging strategies.
• 4+ years hands-on with AWS infrastructure and platform services.
• 2+ years with cloud automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
• 2+ years with container orchestration, Kubernetes (EKS), AWS ECS, and Docker.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and a drive to improve reliability and scalability.

What you will do?

• Automate infrastructure creation with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation — infrastructure as code, not tickets and toil.
• Own application configuration management and drive Infrastructure as Code through deployment tooling.
• Own the build and release cycle for customer projects, end to end.
• Share responsibility for deploying releases and for operations and maintenance work.
• Improve the operations infrastructure we ship with — Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, monitoring tools (Consul), and metrics tools like Graphite and Grafana.
• Support the engineering team operationally and help migrate legacy infrastructure to the cloud — retiring the old systems, not just standing up new ones.
• Establish and enforce operational best practices, and hold releases to them.
• Help hire culturally aligned engineers and mentor them as they grow.
• Work with the founders on team strategy and long-term technical planning.
• Work across distributed teams in the US and India, and with customer SMEs, to keep the business logic honest through migration.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools(IaS) like Terraform and Cloud Formation.
• Proficiency in cloud-native technologies and architectures (Docker/ Kubernetes), Ci/CD pipelines.
• Good experience in Javascript.
• Expertise in Linux / Windows environment.
• Good Experience in Scripting languages like PowerShell / Bash/ Python.
• Proficiency in revision control and DevOps best practices like Git

Key Responsibilities

• As a part of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for the configuration, optimization, documentation, and support of the CI/CD components.

• Creating and managing build and release pipelines with Azure DevOps and Jenkins.

• Assist in planning and reviewing application architecture and design to promote an efficient deployment process.

• Troubleshoot server performance issues & handle the continuous integration system.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM Templates and Terraform.

• Monitor and Support deployment, Cloud-based and On-premises Infrastructure.

• Diagnose and develop root-cause solutions for failures and performance issues in the production environment.

Essential Requirements

• Good hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS & GCP. (Preferably Azure)

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles.

• Strong work experience with CI/CD implementation tools like Azure DevOps, Team City, Octopus Deploy, AWS Code Deploy, and Jenkins.

• Experience of writing automation scripts with PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.

• GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, and Continuous Integration (CI) system.

• Understanding of secure DevOps practices

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience with good technical knowledge regarding build, release, and systems engineering

Technical Skills:

• Experience with DevOps toolchains such as Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, Bitbucket
• Experience with Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, Prometheus ,Grafana
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
• Sound understanding of cloud technologies preferably AWS technologies
• Linux, Windows, Scripting, Configuration Management, Build and Release Engineering
• 6 years of experience in DevOps practices, with a good understanding of DevOps and Agile principles
• Good scripting skills (Python/Perl/Ruby/Bash)
• Experience with standard continuous integration tools Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines
• Work on software configuration management systems (Puppet/Chef/Salt/Ansible)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) and other business productivity tools
• Working knowledge on HSM and PKI (Good to have)

Qualification

 AWS Certification will be a plus.
