About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps practices, manage a small team, and build functional, scalable systems that enhance customer experience. You will be responsible for deployments, automation, troubleshooting, integrations, monitoring, and team mentoring while ensuring secure and efficient operations.

Mandatory Skills :

Linux Administration, Shell Scripting, CI/CD (Jenkins), Git/GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible, Database Administration (MariaDB/MySQL/MongoDB), Apache httpd/Tomcat, HAProxy, Nagios, Keepalived, Monitoring/Logging/Alerting, and On-premise Server Management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement and manage integrations as per business and customer needs.
• Deploy product updates, fixes, and enhancements.
• Provide Level 2 technical support and resolve production issues.
• Build tools to reduce errors and improve system performance.
• Develop scripts and automation for CI/CD, monitoring, and visualization.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement long-term fixes.
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems are in place.
• Manage on-premise servers and ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams for system integration.
• Mentor and guide a team of 3 to 4 engineers.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with team management exposure.
• Strong expertise in:
• Linux Administration & Shell Scripting
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar)
• Git/GitHub, branching, and code repository standards
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Ansible
• Database administration (MariaDB, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Web servers (Apache httpd, Apache Tomcat)
• Networking & Load Balancing tools (HAProxy, Keepalived)
• Monitoring & alerting tools (Nagios, logging frameworks)
• On-premise server management
• Strong debugging, automation, and system troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of security best practices including data encryption.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, schedule, and manage all releases across product and customer projects.
• Define and maintain the release calendar, identifying dependencies and managing risks proactively.
• Partner with engineering, QA, DevOps, and product management to ensure release readiness.
• Create release documentation (notes, guides, videos) for both internal stakeholders and customers.
• Run a release review process with product leads before publishing.
• Publish releases and updates to the company website release section.
• Drive communication of release details to internal teams and customers in a clear, concise way.
• Manage post-release validation and rollback procedures when required.
• Continuously improve release management through automation, tooling, and process refinement.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 3+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and build/deployment practices.
• Experience creating release documentation and customer-facing content (videos, notes, FAQs).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical changes into business impact.
• Familiarity with SaaS, iPaaS, or enterprise software environments is a strong plus.

• The devops engineer needs to help developers, create the Pipelines and K8s Deployment Manifests. 
• Good to have experience on migrating data from (AWS) to Azure. 

• To manage/automate infrastructure automatically using Terraforms. Jenkins is the key CI/CD tool which we uses and it will be used to run these Terraforms. 
• VMs to be provisioned on Azure Cloud and managed. 
• Good hands-on experience of Networking on Cloud is required. 
• Ability to setup Database on VM as well as managed DB and Proper set up of cloud hosted microservices needs to be done to communicate with the db services. 
• Kubernetes, Storage, KeyValult, Networking (load balancing and routing) and VMs are the key infrastructure expertise which are essential. 

• Requirement is to administer Kubernetes cluster end to end. (Application deployment, managing namespaces, load balancing, policy setup, using blue green/canary deployment models etc). 
• The experience in AWS is desirable. 
• Python experience is optional however Power shell is mandatory. 
• Know-how on the use of GitHub 
• Administration of Azure Kubernetes services 

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary responsibility will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to request from the frontend. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of frontend technologies is necessary as well.
