Responsibilities :
● Explore
○ As a devops engineer, you will have multiple ways, tools & technologies to solve
a particular problem. We want you to take things in your own hands and figure
out the best way to solve it.
● PDCT
○ Plan, design, code & write test cases for problems you are solving
● Tuning
○ Help to tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure, including
reviewing system and application logs
● Security
○ Work on code-level application security
● Deploy
○ Deploy, manage and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant
systems in client environments.

What will you do?

• Define the overall process, which includes building a team for DevOps activities and ensuring that infrastructure changes are reviewed from an architecture and security perspective

• Create standardized tooling and templates for development teams to create CI/CD pipelines

• Ensure infrastructure is created and maintained using terraform

• Work with various stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure changes to support new feature sets in various product lines.

• Maintain transparency and clear visibility of costs associated with various product verticals, environments and work with stakeholders to plan for optimization and implementation

• Spearhead continuous experimenting and innovating initiatives to optimize the infrastructure in terms of uptime, availability, latency and costs

You should apply, if you

1. Are a seasoned Veteran: Have managed infrastructure at scale running web apps, microservices, and data pipelines using tools and languages like JavaScript(NodeJS), Go, Python, Java, Erlang, Elixir, C++ or Ruby (experience in any one of them is enough)

2. Are a Mr. Perfectionist: You have a strong bias for automation and taking the time to think about the right way to solve a problem versus quick fixes or band-aids.

3. Bring your A-Game: Have hands-on experience and ability to design/implement infrastructure with GCP services like Compute, Database, Storage, Load Balancers, API Gateway, Service Mesh, Firewalls, Message Brokers, Monitoring, Logging and experience in setting up backups, patching and DR planning

4. Are up with the times: Have expertise in one or more cloud platforms (Amazon WebServices or Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure), and have experience in creating and managing infrastructure completely through Terraform kind of tool

5. Have it all on your fingertips: Have experience building CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Docker for applications majorly running on Kubernetes. Hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting applications running on K8s

6. Have nailed the data storage game: Good knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL,Mongo, BigQuery, Cassandra…)

7. Bring that extra zing: Have the ability to program/script is and strong fundamentals in Linux and Networking.

8. Know your toys: Have a good understanding of Microservices architecture, Big Data technologies and experience with highly available distributed systems, scaling data store technologies, and creating multi-tenant and self hosted environments, that’s a plus

You'll need:

• BS/MS degree in CS-or- a related field with 5+ years of engineering management experience leading productive, high-functioning teams
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Ability to hire while ensuring a high hiring bar, keep engineers motivated, coach/mentor, and handle performance management
• Experience running production services in Public Clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Experience with running large stateful data systems in the Cloud
• Prior knowledge of Cloud architecture and implementation features (multi-tenancy, containerization, orchestration, elastic scalability)

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Navi, you will be building a resilient infrastructure platform, using modern Infrastructure engineering practices.

 

You will be responsible for the availability, scaling, security, performance and monitoring of the navi Cloud platform. You’ll be joining a team that follows best practices in infrastructure as code

 

• Build out the Infrastructure components like API Gateway, Service Mesh, Service Discovery, container orchestration platform like kubernetes.
• Developing reusable Infrastructure code and testing frameworks
• Build meaningful abstractions to hide the complexities of provisioning modern infrastructure components
• Design a scalable Centralized Logging and Metrics platform
• Drive solutions to reduce Mean Time To Recovery(MTTR), enable High Availability.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead ( and/or CTO ) to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.

You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, you’ll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.

DevOps Engineer Position: Full time Base Location: Bangalore, with extensive and frequent travel to SEA R&R: ● Work with people across various levels right from delivery team level to top management ● Support internal product and external customers on multiple platforms ● Working with customer teams (specifically development team) to analyse their process, and environments to improve user satisfaction ● Improve client Devops team by enabling them with DevOps concepts, and processes. ● Act as the technical expert across multiple client projects helping them in enhancing their delivery pipeline , and overall DevOps and Agile practices ● Identify state of the art CI/CD tools, prepare decision proposals, implementation plans for these tools and carry out introduction & training, allowing client delivery to move faster. ● Bring in new and cutting-edge methodologies in DevOps both for Greyamp and for clients. Need to have: ● 3 - 5 years of experience of relevant experience (at least 1 year experience in development, and 2+ in Devops) ● Understanding of Linux/Unix Administration ● Understanding of one scripting language (python, shell, ruby or pearl) ● Experience working with different OS Servers (RedHat, Oracle, Microsoft) ● Strong understanding of version control (GIT) ● Good understanding of build tools like ANT or Maven or gradle ● Experience with setting up relevant dashboard using tools around code quality and vulnerability checks (SonarQube) ● Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Circle CI or GoCD) ● Good understanding and working experience with Docker Containers ● Experience working with configuration management tools(chef, puppet or ansible) ● Extensive knowledge on working with cloud platform and maintaining automation scripts using terraform or similar tools.
