Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Sr. IT Analyst – IAM & Office 365

Location: Sector 32, Gurgaon

Work Mode: Hybrid

Shift Timing: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Should be comfortable working on weekends if needed)

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned IT Security professional with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Office 365 administration. This role is critical to ensuring secure access to enterprise systems, managing user identity lifecycles, and supporting ongoing cloud security initiatives.

You will work with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices, support operational tasks, and contribute to projects around IAM automation, Office 365 feature rollouts, and policy implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Identity and Access Management (IAM):

• Administer and maintain IAM systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
• Implement and optimize Conditional Access Policies, MFA, and RBAC.
• Integrate IAM solutions with Azure AD, Office 365, and other enterprise tools.
• Automate workflows for identity lifecycle management and secret/certificate rotation.
• Maintain documentation such as SOPs and process flows.

Office 365 Administration:

• Manage services like SharePoint Online, Teams, and PowerApps.
• Configure and monitor security features like DLP and Defender for Office 365.
• Troubleshoot Office 365 issues and respond to service requests.
• Ensure Office 365 logs are properly integrated into the SIEM system.

Operational Security & Projects:

• Conduct user access audits, incident handling, and vulnerability remediation.
• Participate in security tool upgrades and rollout of new O365 features.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards.
• Drive improvements in access control and security posture.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 4+ years in IT Security with expertise in IAM and Office 365.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access, and O365 security.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of IAM principles, RBAC, authentication protocols.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Exposure to Microsoft Graph API is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Good to Have

• Microsoft Certification – MS-102 or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• Solid experience in building enterprise-level cloud solutions on one of the big-3(AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Collaborate with development teams to automate software delivery pipelines, utilizing CI/CD tools and technologies.
• Responsible for configuring and overseeing cloud services, including virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, databases, and networking components, ensuring their effective management and operation.
• Responsible for implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure optimal system health and performance
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and security procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring system availability and reliability.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address potential threats.
• Implement security controls and best practices to protect systems, data, and applications in compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud, and cybersecurity. Recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and security.

You Have:

• B.Tech in Computer Science.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps.
• Proficiency in GCP, Azure, AWS ecosystems, and Cybersecurity
• Experience with: CI/CD automation, cloud service configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, security implementation.
• Familiarity with Blockchain will be an edge.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail

1. Develop and Deploy Software:
1. Architect and create an effective build and release process using industry best practices and tools
2. Create and manage build scripts to deploy software in a multi-cloud environment
3. Look for opportunities to automate as much of the deployment process as possible to provide for repeatability, auditability, scalability and build in process enforcement
2. Manage Release Schedule:
1. Act as a “gate keeper” for all releases into production
2. Work closely with business stakeholders, development managers and developers to prepare a release schedule
3. Help prioritize deployment requests for version upgrades, patches and hot-fixes
3. Continuous Delivery of Software:
1. Implement Continuous Integration (CI) practices to drive development teams to implement smaller changes and commit code to the version control repo frequently
2. Implement Continuous Development (CD) practices that automates deployment of the application to several environments – Dev, Test and Production
3. Implement Continuous Testing (functional and non-functional) to execute tests in the CI/CD pipeline
4. Manage Version Control:
1. Define and implement branching policies to efficiently manage source-code
2. Implement business rules as a part of source control standards
5. Resolve Software Issues:
1. Assist technical support and development teams to troubleshoot issues and identify areas that need improvement
2. Address deployment related issues
6. Maintain Release Documentation:
1. Maintain release notes (features available in stable versions and known issues) and other documents for both internal and external end users

DevOps Architect 

Experience:  10 - 12+ year relevant experience on DevOps
Locations : Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur.

Qualification:
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer science, Software engineering or equivalent is required.
• Certifications in specific areas are desired
