Lead Drone Software Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a Lead Drone Software Engineer to architect and develop embedded flight software, autonomy algorithms, and AI-powered navigation systems. You will build the intelligence that powers our drones.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight control algorithms using PX4/ArduPilot/ROS.
• Build real-time embedded systems for obstacle avoidance, GPS-denied navigation, and autonomy.
• Implement sensor fusion algorithms (LiDAR, IMU, GPS, vision-based SLAM).
• Develop AI/ML and computer vision systems for object detection and terrain mapping.
• Create ground control systems (GCS) for mission planning and telemetry.
• Integrate cloud-based platforms for fleet management and data analytics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (geo-fencing, fail-safe, BVLOS).

Qualifications

• B.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 4- 5+ years in embedded software, robotics, or UAV development.
• Strong programming in C/C++, Python.
• Hands-on with ROS, PX4, ArduPilot, MAVLink protocols.
• Experience in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
• Knowledge of networking, cloud APIs, and cybersecurity for UAVs.
• Prior UAV/robotics product experience highly preferred.

You will be working on complex data migrations, modernizing legacy applications and building new applications on the cloud for large enterprise and/or growth stage startups. Required Technical Skills

●     Extensive hands-on experience building high-performance applications primarily using Node.Js ,(Javascript/Typescript) along with Nest.Js, Express.JS, MongoDB.

●     Hands-on experience with other languages such as .NET/C# or Java or Golang or Python.

●     Strong experience with appropriate framework(s).

●     Well versed in monolithic and microservices architecture and System design experience.

●     Hands-on experience with data modeling on MongoDB (NoSQL) and Relational or NoSQL databases

●     Experience working with 3rd party integrations ranging from authentication, cloud services, etc.

●     Hands-on experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

●     Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and atleast 1 cloud provider - AWS / GCP / Azure

●     Strong experience writing and maintaining clear documentation

Good to have skills:

●     Experience working with frontend technologies - React.Js or Vue.Js or Angular.

●     Extensive experience consulting with customers directly for defining architecture or system design.

●     Technical certifications in AWS / Azure / GCP / MongoDB or other relevant technologies

• Experienced in defining & realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale enterprise systems. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same.
• Strong experience in OOAD and in applying Design patterns effectively
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java/ JEE technologies like Struts/JSF, Spring, EJB, JMS Experience only on front-end technologies like Struts, JSP, Servlets, HTML will not be sufficient.
• Experience in performance testing and optimization of JEE systems on any of the following application servers - WebLogic, WebSphere and JBoss. Deep expertise in any one of the application servers is a must
• Strong experience in at least one RDBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL).
• Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture, Workload modelling etc
• Excellent understanding of software development methodologies and architectures
• Experience in either of these areas is a definite add-on - Infrastructure sizing, Capacity planning, Performance modelling, Cloud Computing
• Working experience on Linux/Unix based OS systems is a must
• Working experience on any one of these open source technologies (LAMP stack, Node.js framework, ELK, Cassandra, MongoDB, Couch base NO-SQL databases).

Job Description:

• Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Monitor the system's health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real-time
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Provide on-call support for critical production systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

1. Connecting with minimum 80 to 100 working professionals (prospective students) each day from the leads/database present on leadsquared CRM
2. Generating a pool of prospects by identifying the need of upskilling depending on the student’s area of interest
3. Helping prospective students with the detailed information about the programs offered through phone or video counselling & create a strong pipeline
4. Ensure to meet daily deliverables & achieve weekly/monthly enrolment target

What you need to have:

Desired candidates must have 2-7 years experience as NodeJs Developer. If the candidate is not able to relocate to Gurgaon then we can also provide permanent Work from home for this position.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Responsible for understanding functional and business requirements and translate them into effective code
• Provide support till deployment of code into production.
• Ownership for ensuring code optimization, problem diagnosis, and on-time delivery
• Implement solutions as per the pre-defined framework /guidelines and adherence to processes

What candidate should know about:

• Excellent hands-on experience with Node.Js, Express.Js, JavaScript

• Ability to build REST services, Authentications, MVC applications

• Self-learning abilities are required
