We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with strong hands-on experience in SQL + Informatica and programming knowledge in Java or Python. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines and database solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business data needs and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views for high performance and scalability.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter (or Informatica Cloud).
- Integrate and automate data flows between systems using Java or Python for custom scripts and applications.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
- Implement performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies for large datasets.
- Maintain data security, compliance, and documentation of ETL and database processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer or ETL Developer.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud.
- Programming experience in Java or Python (for automation, data integration, or API handling).
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL best practices, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting.
- Experience in data modeling and data governance frameworks.
