Your job:
• Programming of interface function blocks between Festo Systems (CPX,CPX-E,…) and PLCs from Rockwell
• Responsible for Updating, Upgrading and Bug fixing existing and created libraries
• Create the corresponding User Documentation of the PLC-programs and function blocks and instruction how to implement Festo automation product into PLC program
• Testing of PLC libraries and function blocks developed for Festo systems and ensure proper documentation
• Investigate and evaluate problems and develop solution proposals involving the use of components and systems in various PLC environments
• Close cooperation with the Technical Support and development as well as with the Festo national companies and customers around the world
• On-site support for commissioning and troubleshooting at customer locations (as required).
Your qualification:
• Completed study of mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of experience with PLC Programming in Rockwell’s Studio5000 and RS Logix 5000
• Good knowledge of industrial fieldbus protocols is advantageous: Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP & DeviceNet
• Knowledge of products and applications in the field of Electric Automation and Automotive industry is desirable
• Well-developed problem-solving competence, as well as customer and team orientation
