Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS) to test and ensure high-quality software delivery across the lending lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional testing, especially in financial services or lending platforms, and will ensure systems comply with regulatory standards and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Testing
- Design and execute test cases for LOS and LMS functionalities
- Perform end-to-end testing of loan lifecycle: application → underwriting → disbursement → servicing → closure
- Validate calculations for interest rates, EMIs, fees, and schedules
Test Case Development & Execution
- Develop test scripts/scenarios for LAP and CV loans
- Execute and maintain manual and regression tests
Defect Tracking
- Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Collaborate with developers to ensure resolution and closure of defects
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Managers
- Participate in sprint planning and requirement reviews
Compliance Testing
- Ensure system compliance with financial regulations, disclosures, and reporting standards
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare test reports, defect logs, test coverage, and documentation for knowledge sharing
UAT Support
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help validate business readiness
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in functional testing, especially in lending/loan systems
- Strong knowledge of Loan Against Property (LAP) and Commercial Vehicle Loans
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with testing tools: JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, HP ALM, QTest
- Working knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Understanding of LOS/LMS architecture and APIs
Testing Methodologies:
- Strong experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT Testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC best practices
Soft Skills:
