Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a collaborative, agile team to deliver industry-leading engagement capabilities on the web.
• Integrate with other services to help the client seamlessly provide value to more companies.
• Design and develop feature enhancements that continue to deliver value and provide an excellent customer experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve emergency server or code issues at any stack level.

Requirements:

• Ability to empathize with end-users; build with scale and ease of adoption in mind.
• Experience building in an agile setting with code reviews and quality as a priority.
• Strong design skills for separation and modularity of code; aversion to overly complex, spaghetti code.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or commensurate experience.
• 3 years experience in production web application development.
• 5 years of experience working with NodeJS or an equivalent web framework and language.
• Experience writing JavaScript code, either vanilla JS or using a framework such as Node.js or React, or Redux.
• Unit testing experience (Jest).
• 3rd-party API usage and integration experience.
• RDBMS usage (e. g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Interview Process:

Software Engineer - C++ Developer.

Experience: 1-3 years

Requirements:-

1. A competent user of all internal systems, to include our employee records system (HRMS- SPINE)
2. Updating and maintaining HR systems, records, and reports with accurate employee data.
3. Undertake all required pre-employment checks, updating, and discussing with line manager and recruitment team as appropriate.
4. Providing MIS & monthly employee payroll data in support of the payroll subject matter expert.
5. Processing changes to employee's circumstances, including preparing accurate and effective documentation/communication and updating relevant databases.
6. Processing leavers, including preparing accurate, relevant documentation and updating systems accordingly.
7. Producing Information reports and complete any HR audit requirements and/or reporting as required.
8. Ensuring that the end-to-end HR process always supports a positive employee experience.
9. Following existing HR processes accurately and challenging these for ongoing efficiencies.
10. Supporting HR priority projects with any administrative activity
11. Responding to emails on behalf of the department
12. Providing ad-hoc administrative support to any of the other HR functions, as necessary and in line with business requirements.

• Essentail Skills:
• Docker
• Jenkins
• Python dependency management using conda and pip

• Base Linux System Commands, Scripting
• Docker Container Build & Testing
• Common knowledge of minimizing container size and layers
• Inspecting containers for un-used / underutilized systems
• Multiple Linux OS support for virtual system

• Has experience as a user of jupyter / jupyter lab to test and fix usability issues in workbenches
• Templating out various configurations for different use cases (we use Python Jinja2 but are open to other languages / libraries)
• Jenkins PIpeline
• Github API Understanding to trigger builds, tags, releases
• Artifactory Experience
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, other deployment automation tool sets (DevOps)

Experience Level – 2 to 8 years

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Will play a key role in designing and developing best-in-class workflows solutions for efi productivity suites
• Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centred design process
• Create holistic design solutions that address business and end-user requirements collaboratively with R&D and Product Management organizations
• Create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and screen flows along with visual design skills

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in design communication, human-computer interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, product, software)
• Mastery in Interaction design and good competency in Visual designs
• Capability to work using sketch or photoshop
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (including user research, product management and engineering)
