Primary Responsibilities

Cognitio Analytics is looking for a Lead Application Developer, driven by innovation and a desire to make a difference. Duties include working in a professional environment with a team of developers, data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and product owners. The ability to effectively lead teams that are fiercely focused on client service, innovation, and delivering products that create and capture value is required. Successful candidates will be able to lead development projects, plan and design solutions with heavy focus on data integration and Azure cloud capabilities and analysis methods needed to support project goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computere Science or related experience 
• Practical web & application development experience
• Full Stack Web development skills and experiences

Preferred Qualifications – experience with a few of the following is a plus:

• Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in software development;
• Experience with agile development practices through Azure Dev/Ops
• JavaScript (including ES6), HTML, and CSS(SASS/LESS);
• Responsive web design and UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)
• JavaScript frameworks ( React, etc.);
• Experience with server-side technologies (.NET, NodeJS, etc.);
• RESTful web services;
• Cloud computing - Azure
• Unit testing and continuous integration and deployment

You will be responsible for architecting and developing features on the application end to end. You will be working closely with the Product Managers and the Technical architect to come up with high-quality, resilient, and highly performant applications.‍

• Design and develop SaaS-based applications based on microservices architecture.
• Work on the core backend and ensure it meets the performance benchmarks.
• Work on the front end with ReactJS.
• Design and develop APIs for the frontend to consume.
• Constantly improve the application architecture by clearing the technical backlog.
• Meet both technical and consumer needs.
• Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

• Education - BE/MCA or equivalent.
• Overall 4+ years of experience.

• Good experience with Front-end technologies like JavaScript frameworks, ReactJS, AngularJS.
• Backend exposure – good knowledge of building API.

• Hands-on  Relation, Non-relation, MYSQL, Data Lakes, HIVE, Apache Spark, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Streaming Analytics, In-Memory, NoSQL Database.
• Must have a good understanding of building and using REST APIs and Different Authentication Protocols.
• Good to have experience with  Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront )
• Must have experience building microservices and customer-facing APIs.
• Must have a sound understanding of failure modes, resiliency patterns, and techniques to enable robust, self-healing architecture.
• Develop Business Domain-Driven Reusable Microservices.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT (mandatory).
• Experience with Google Cloud is a plus.
• Experience with the process of automation and load testing is a plus.

• Develop frontend components on ReactJS with Redux as state management library
• Should have good knowledge of tailwind CSS

• Experience with testing tools such as Jest
• Experience in web security and performance on mobile and desktop
