SRE Engineer

Role Overview 

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability and performance of our customer-facing platform. You will work closely with DevOps, DBA, and Development teams to provision and maintain infrastructure, deploy and monitor our applications, and automate workflows. Your contributions will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and overall experience.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

• Manage, monitor, and maintain highly available systems (Windows and Linux)

• Analyze metrics and trends to ensure rapid scalability.

• Address routine service requests while identifying ways to automate and simplify.

• Create infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM Templates, Cloud Formation.

• Maintain data backups and disaster recovery plans.

• Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Octopus, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.

• Adhere to security best practices through all stages of the software development lifecycle

• Follow and champion ITIL best practices and standards.

• Become a resource for emerging and existing cloud technologies with a focus on AWS.

Organizational Alignment

• Reports to the Senior SRE Manager

• This role involves close collaboration with DevOps, DBA, and security teams.

Technical Proficiencies

• Hands-on experience with AWS is a must-have.

• Proficiency analyzing application, IIS, system, security logs and CloudTrail events

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus

• Experience with observability tools such as New Relic, Application Insights, AppDynamics, or DataDog.

• Experience maintaining and administering Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes.

• Experience in automation using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Configuration management experience using Ansible, Terraform, Azure Automation Run book or similar.

• Experience with SQL Server database maintenance and administration is preferred.

• Good Understanding of networking (VNET, subnet, private link, VNET peering).

• Familiarity with cloud concepts including certificates, Oauth, AzureAD, ASE, ASP, AKS, Azure Apps, 

Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Firewall, Load Balancer, API Management, SQL Server, Databases on Azure

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in SRE or System Administration role

• Demonstrated ability building and supporting high availability Windows/Linux servers, with emphasis on the WISA stack (Windows/IIS/SQL Server/ASP.net)

• 3+ years of experience working with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure.

• 1+ years of experience working with container technology including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Comfortable using Scrum, Kanban, or Lean methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent 

experience.

Additional Job Details:

• Working hours: 2:00 PM / 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST

• Interview process: 3 technical rounds

• Work model: 3 days’ work from office

• Strong Product Designer profile, with both UI and UX works for B2C Products
• Mandatory (Experience 1) - Must have a 5+ YOE in end-to-end Product Design, including UX work like UX Research, User Persona, Workflows
• Mandatory (Experience 2) - Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and others to create high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes

Key Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing:

• Edit raw footage into a cohesive and visually appealing final product, including cutting and trimming scenes, rearranging sequences, and adding transitions.
• Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and special effects to enhance the video’s narrative and visual appeal.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.

2.Special Effects and Graphics:

• Add special effects, motion graphics, and animations to enhance video storytelling and visual appeal.
• Create or incorporate pre-existing graphics, such as lower thirds, titles, and credits, into the video.

3.Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the director, producers, and other team members to understand the vision and requirements for each project.
• Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and offer suggestions for improving the video’s narrative and visual style.
• Communicate regularly with the production team to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

1. Color Correction and Grading:

• Perform color correction to ensure consistency and accuracy across all scenes.
• Apply color grading techniques to create the desired mood and atmosphere in the video.

4.File Management and Archiving:

• Organize and manage digital video files, ensuring proper naming conventions and storage for easy retrieval.
• Archive completed projects in an organized manner for future reference or reuse.

5.Quality Control:

• Review final videos to ensure they meet technical standards for broadcasting, including resolution, aspect ratio, and audio quality.
• Make necessary revisions based on feedback from clients or stakeholders.

6.Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest video editing software, tools, and techniques.
• Attend workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enhance video editing skills and keep up with industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and editing workflows.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual composition and storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of color correction and audio editing is a plus.

Sound technical exposure in React, Node, API, Java, JPA, Hibernate, Kafka, REST API,

Postgre DB.

• Strong experience in systems design principles.

• Must have strong exposure in PSQL queries and stored procedures.

• Experience in Lending/Fintech domains will be preferable.

• Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and

low-latency.

• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.

• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives.

• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising.

• Develop technical designs for application development.

• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.

• Manage Java and Java EE application development.

• Understanding of strategic handling of technical projects. i.e. adhering to stakeholder

expectations and processes.

• Identify target audience and grow our email list
• Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
• Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
• Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
• Write newsletters including all company updates
• Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features
• Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimize unsubscribes
• Create email databases for lead generation
• Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
• Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
• Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices

Mandatory

Technical skills

Cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) -preferably in AWS

Compute/Container/Orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Lambda/Serverless etc.)

Microservices & multi-tier architectures

DevOps/CI/CD (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar) GitLab is preferable

Java (Core & EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud) & Python

RDBMS systems sucah as MySQL , Postgres and NoSQL, Storage Technologies (S3, EBS etc.)

API – GraphQL, REST, API Gateway

Integration and events/messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitmQ, SNS, SQS)

Caching Solutions such as Elasticache/Redis, Hazelcast, EHCache

Observability and monitoring (Dynatrace, Cloud Watch, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog)

Very good understanding on Agile software releases and hands-on

Experience in project management tools like JIRA

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering/ECE/EEE, IT or MCA, MSc Computer Science

An HR Generalist is responsible for creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to standards and laws initiated by authorities. Some of their typical duties include:

• Work on the open hire requirements based on the business needs
