🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with a strong product mindset and experience building scalable, secure, and performance-critical systems. You will join our core engineering team to enhance backend services powering DRM enforcement, file tracking, audit logging, and file sync engines.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a product-first, security-driven environment and wants to build technologies that handle terabytes of enterprise data across thousands of endpoints.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

●      Develop and enhance server-side services for DRM policy enforcement, file synchronization, data leak protection, and endpoint telemetry.

●      Build Python-based backend APIs and services that interact with file systems, agent software, and enterprise infrastructure.

●      Work on delta sync, file versioning, audit trails, and secure content preview/rendering services.

●      Implement secure file handling, encryption workflows, and token-based access controls across modules.

●      Collaborate with DevOps to optimize scalability, performance, and availability of core services across hybrid deployments (on-prem/cloud).

●      Debug and maintain production-level services; drive incident resolution and performance optimization.

●      Integrate with 3rd-party platforms such as LDAP, AD, DLP, CASB, and SIEM systems.

●      Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and mentoring junior developers.

📌 Required Skills & Experience

●      3+ years of professional experience with Python 3.x, preferably in enterprise or security domains.

●      Strong understanding of multithreading, file I/O, inter-process communication, and low-level system APIs.

●      Expertise in building RESTful APIs, schedulers, workers (Celery), and microservices.

●      Solid experience with encryption libraries (OpenSSL, cryptography.io) and secure coding practices.

●      Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, SQLite, or other transactional and cache stores.

●      Familiarity with Linux internals, filesystem hooks, journaling/logging systems, and OS-level operations.

●      Experience with source control (Git), containerization (Docker/K8s), and CI/CD.

●      Proven ability to write clean, modular, testable, and scalable code for production environments.

➕ Preferred/Bonus Skills

●      Experience in EFSS, DRM, endpoint DLP, or enterprise content security platforms.

●      Knowledge of file diffing algorithms (rsync, delta encoding) or document watermarking.

●      Prior experience with agent-based software (Windows/Linux), desktop sync tools, or version control systems.

●      Exposure to compliance frameworks (e.g., DPDP Act, GDPR, RBI-CSF) is a plus.

Requirements

• 3+ years work experience with production-grade python. Contribution to open source repos is preferred
• Experience writing concurrent and distributed programs, AWS lambda, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark is preferred.
• Experience with one relational & 1 non-relational DB is preferred
• Prior work in the ML domain will be a big boost

What You’ll Do

• Help realize the product vision: Production-ready machine learning models with monitoring within moments, not months.
• Help companies deploy their machine learning models at scale across a wide range of use-cases and sectors.
• Build integrations with other platforms to make it easy for our customers to use our product without changing their workflow.
• Write maintainable, scalable performant python code
• Building gRPC, rest API servers
• Working with Thrift, Protobufs, etc.

Programming Languages: Perl, java. Perl programming with strong OOPs knowledge.

UI: HTML, JS
System: Linux must have – good knowledge and shell scripting experience.
Prior experience in infrastructure automation, monitoring will definitely help.


Description:

The person in this role:


- Will be involved in developing new monitoring scripts, enhancement & defect fixes on existing monitors

- Have to be on-call to support any incoming production/P1 internal issues which need urgent attention (team members are on call for a week and we have a weekly rotation policy within the team)

Desired candidates must have 2-7 years experience as NodeJs Developer. If the candidate is not able to relocate to Gurgaon then we can also provide permanent Work from home for this position.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Responsible for understanding functional and business requirements and translate them into effective code
• Provide support till deployment of code into production.
• Ownership for ensuring code optimization, problem diagnosis, and on-time delivery
• Implement solutions as per the pre-defined framework /guidelines and adherence to processes
• Finding an optimal solution for the problem statement
• Conduct peer code review.

What candidate should know about:

• Excellent hands-on experience with Node.Js, Express.Js, JavaScript
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Excellent hands-on experience with MongoDB, Mongo aggregation, MySQL
• Ability to build REST services, Authentications, MVC applications
• Excellent Object Oriented Programming skills and ability to write modular, secure, scalable, and maintainable code
• Experience with Elastic Search, Redis.
• Knowledge about AWS components (S3, EC2, Cloudfront, Redis Clusters, etc.)
• Self-learning abilities are required
• Familiarity with upcoming new technologies is a strong plus

• Having experience in Hospitality/Travel/Internet/Online/Start-up/IT/Logistic/Courier/Cargo/ Transportation would be preferable.
